Wordpress or Blogspot???

I've been blogging for a long time already and right now, I want to earn money by blogging. D'you have any ideas? I really love wordpress. Their layouts, and (insert you blog name here).wordpress.com sounds better than (insert your blog name here).blogspot.com, but i know blogspot better than wordpress, and they allow advertisements to be placed on the blogs.
have you ever gone through the same dilemma? what did you do? what did you choose and why?

Well i have been blogging and i think wordpress is a better format as SEo with it is very simple and manageable

Well if you are going to the free side, then choose blogger because its the most customizable blog provider out there.
But if you are going to the paid(domain, hosting) side then choose wordpress because it has a lot more features/plugins and others that you can instantly use unlike blogger were you will need to code it yourself.
But like the post above, its better if you know both blog providers because you never know if you will switch or for other reasons.
