I visited my uncle who lives in countryside the other day.His neighbours still remember me,and we have a very long and nice talk.It is about ten years since I left my uncle. But I find the people in this village changed little, they are as lovely as I remembered. It seems that they worry less than the city-people. Chikens walk in the yard, dogs welcome the guests wagging the tail, ducks quake here and there with a little soft faces here and there. What they eat are greenfood. The air there is nice,I feel that breathing is so enjoying that I can foget everything in that moment.I like olfe there, howeve i do not picture that I can make a living there. It is much easier for me working in the city..

Hi,
Since young, i have much preferred a countryside life. I find that staying in a countryside, we are away from the hustle and bustle of the citylife. In the city, everybody is rushing here and there, thinking of ways to make as much money as possible. However, i picture the countryside life as one that is relaxing. it might be laidback, but people there are more friendly and they are more willing to stop and talk to you, stop and help you.
I totally understand that the standard of living is very different. However, i still see people staying in the country side as more happy compared to those staying in the city. Perhaps my thinking is wrong. But for me, i hope to have a simple life and a happy one.

Thanks for your response,For all the merits of countryside, young peple may be less satisfied in terms of spending, eating, big brand clothes, something like that. For me,when I live in the city,I miss the countryside, and vise verse.I wish my purse could afford me to switch one from the other.

It would be real nice if we have a chance to alternate between the two. People living in the city sometimes need to take a break from the hustle and bustle of it all and a countryside prove to be the best remedy.

Thanks for your response..Yeah,Definately city life can satisfy one's spending desire, but when he can not balance his incomes and needs,it is not that happy.

I live in a small rural city and I have lived in a large city. I like the quiet life in the small city. People know you and watch out for you and your property. Once while on vacation I had a smaller tree blow down and rather than mow around the fallen tree my neighbor and his sons cut it up and piled the brushoff to the side. I offered to pay them but he asked if he could have some of the wood instead.
Give me the small town living.

Thanks for your response,it is good that you enjoy your small city life.your neighbor is so nice...Here in my city ,also a small one,the capital of a provice, people feel close to each other although they are strangers.but the house price is beyong my purse, that bothers me very much..

I am country bred so yes I love the country. I feel much better and content when I am out in the country then when in the city. I like the slow country life and the feeling of being safe where I am. I've lived in the suburbs or city most of my life but lived out in the country a few years and want to move back there again.
I do not mind travelling for work, as long as I can come home every night to the country.

Well dear you have drawn the exact picture of a typical countryside with this post. I really miss the countryside now. I really would opt to live that side of the world if only I have job in that place. The air is cool, the surrounding is green with trees and vegetation and the ambiance is always fresh and peaceful. How I wish we could also make the cities as cool and fresh as the countryside by planting more trees and plants around.

Well I like living in the city because there are literally thousands of places you can go. Unlike living in the province. But i do miss the good breeze and fresh air in the countryside.

I have always been a country girl by heart. It is so nice to grow up in a country side. When I will retire I want to come back to the country side and spend the rest of my remaining life there living in a farm.
I am currently living in the suburbs where you get the best of both the rural and urban life. In suburbs you get to experience clean living with fresh air and the laid back lifestyle of a rural life. You get to personally know your neighbors. It is very conducive for a child to grow in a suburb where he can play with the other children in the neighborhood and not worry about pollution. Prices of houses are even cheaper than those offered in the city.
What is good living in a suburb is that it is just near the comforts of the city. You can always experience the city life and it is always near to the best schools in the country. Plus there are more employment choices here. Basically you get the best of both worlds living in a suburb.
