Hambone!, Cheerleaders, format changes. For WHAT?

OK I understand that EVERYTHING evolves and I am getting to the age where I can see a lot of things that "weren't the way they used to be". When bowling was taken off ABC after the merger of ABC/ESPN I thought nothing of it... it was hard to see Bo Burton and Chris Schenkel leave (although Randy Pedersen has done a great job). Then the ABC/WABC/youth leagues all get wrapped up into this USBC (United States Bowling Congress) banner... then we have the introduction of the 6 different lane conditions. Then we get a color commentator who is from soccer (Rob Stone)... SOCCER, really? Who comes up with HAMBONE for XXXX. OMG. I've put up with it all, but then I heard that there were going to be cheerleaders for the individuals in the finals of the .... Weber Open this year... this is getting crazy. Am I the only one who thinks so? I get to simmer until next season starts I guess! Thanks, Zelo
