do you really intend to impress the person doing the interview? if so, you might not be acting natural in your interview and that would make you look tensed and not confident. when you are going for an interview, be natural, just answer the qwuestions naturally and as you know it, show your expertise in simple words. do not be bothered too much by impressing them because more likely you will only end up not impressing them because you'd be left unfocused to concentrate on the most important thing in the interview which is to let them know you are competent for the job.

Start with your self. Do your credentials qualify you for the job? If the requirement says you need a Master's Degree and you don't, then you'll have less chances to get hired. When you go to the interview, are you prepared? Have you made a background check on the company you're applying to? Have you read on the requirements of the position you're applying to? Are you well-groomed? During the interview, are you confident? Do interviews make you nervous? Then prepare your self for it. Read about it. There are many suggestions that can be found in the internet about handling interviews. Is your speech good? Can you express your self well? If your answer is no, practice! Try doing a mock interview in front of a mirror. And see how you look like when being interviewed. Good luck on your next interview!

Confidence my friend, confidence. Dont get intimated by the interviewer, remember they are just humans like you and me, a little richer maybe than us, but they are flesh and blood just like the rest of humanity. Then also remember that the interviewer is not necessarily the manager, many companies hire shrinks to interview applicants. Be respectful but do not show weakness. lastly prepare yourself mentally and physically before an interview and wear your best clothing.

I agree with hypocrite_hater, confidence is one of the main thing yew need to have in an interview. Be positive stay calm, think before yew speak coz most of the time when yew are tensed yew tend to speak sumthng that yew shouldnt. When yew reply look at the interviewer straight in their eyes, which shows that yew are confident. remember, in an interview they do not expect yew to know everything about their job, they just wanna know everthing that yew know. So best of luck for ya next interview.
