There's this guy in class. We weren't close friends but we did have some conversations at times. Then suddenly one day we just stopped talking, idk why
Anyway today I was waiting for the elevator and guess who I met!! It was him and god it was awkward!!! I did wave and say HII but that was it. And in the elevator it was just me, him and one other person. It was awkward really and I think not a good way to start a day. The atmosphere inside the elevator was reallyyy ughhh!! Anyway after we reached our floor I rushed out like real quick and headed to our class
I think this was a super awkward moment for me after a long time. What about you?? Any recent awkward moments you would want to share???

Awwh you should have said hi how are you, and smiled.
I understand it was awkward and yup been there before. I normally do not shy away from new people, as I feel I am very outgoing and not afraid to start conversations with anyone. But I do remember a few years ago meeting Michael Shannon, the actor. I had seen an old film of his Bugs and it was an excellent film of his only problem was that he was shown fully naked. Although I tried to concentrate on the film could not help but admire his sexiness, lol
So a few weeks later I went to an Actors benefit where he was a host, he greeted all people at the door buying tickets. He and my boyfriend are long time friends. So as soon as I approached him at the door, my eyes were in shock, he is just as sexy in person. So I could not even speak because I was remembering him in the film. My boyfriend introduced us and I could not speak. lol, As customary we leaned in and cheek kiss as the greeting. I was sweating and my boyfriend kept laughing.
Anyways since then I have met him and he is really a nice guy, he has not let me live that moment down to date.

I guess I'm a little unclear on the "just stopped talking" concept. Did you talk to him and he didn't respond? Or he ignored you or moved away from you or something? Or did you just run out of things to talk about? It sounds like it was very awkward for you but why didn't you just strike up a conversation? Maybe he's wondering why you stopped talking too.

NO he didn't ignore me, nor did I ignore him. Even before we never had lots of things to talk about but we did have small talks. Sometimes I approached him, sometimes he did. But then we just stopped. He didn't bother calling me and I didn't too. But I don't remember doing anything that offended him. We just stopped.

Well i always have awkward moments when i'm with my brother-in-law alone in the house or in the car.
Long time ago we had a past but it's not that we had a relationship. That was even before his younger brother and i became a couple. He was somehow attracted to me but the younger brother won over him as he was too shy to propose and then we he had a girlfriend, the girlfriend hated me for some reason and we hated each other and my brother-in-law and i had a serious fight. That was settled long time ago but until now i still feel awkward whenever we are left alone.

Wow that is seriously like 10times more awkward!! I hope things get better and I hope you don't have to be alone, where ever you are, with your brother-in-law.

Very awkward indeed... Did he wave back or say hi back to you?
I got a lot of awkward moment in my life.. There's this once I saw my crush before and I smiled at him but he just passed like he doesn't know me..
That's awkward! LOL. The smile in my face has gone!

Yep he did wave back too. But thank god he did, coz if he didn't it would have been more awkward lol
Anyway yes i soo know how you felt. While walking down the hallways I wave at my friends and sometimes they don't see me and it feels like I'm waving at the open space lol. Awkward!!

i had that kind of experience also but it was not my type to greet someone, especially if we're not that close. I just continue whatever I'm doing , walking or talking with a friend, not unless that person break the tension. I just ignore everybody.

I was waiting for the elevator and suddenly met him there too. I was alone and I did see him so I waved. We were friends before, i think

That would be very awkward. I can't think of anything that has ever happened to me that was that awkward I wonder why he quit talking to you. At least you said "HI" to him. It would have been worse if you didn't.

I don't know why we stopped talking. I don't remember ever offending him or having any fights, idk . Anyway I'm glad he did "HI" me back or else it would have been more awkward lol

That happened to me with a professor who doesn't like me. I just tried to talk to the other person who was in the elevator to avoid having a conversation with the professor. Anyway, I'm sure the guy you use to talk to was feeling awkward as well. I tend to get awkward moments a lot. Recently I told one person that I didn't want to go on a trip with her and a group of other people (for my own reasons), and since I didn't feel comfortable talking to the whole group she offered to tell them for me. The next day I saw the group and I said hi, but they seemed to be confused.

He was probably feeling awkward too. ANd the other thing is you know how we can see reflections inside the elevator, I could like see his face all the while coz we were both facing towards the door. God it was so awkward and I wouldn't want to experience it again :/
Oh so the girls thought that you probably didn't like them and didn't wanna hang out with them??
