I honestly really enjoyed it!
I usually don't like 3D films because I just find my head hurts, but my boyfriend wanted to see it in 3D and so we did....and honestly, I was so engrossed in the film that I didn't even notice the inevitable headache until the movie was over.
The plot was gripping, the characters engaging, the graphics pretty awesome and there were some unexpected, funny moments.
The guy who plays Thor is charming and Natalie Portman plays her part surprisingly well.
The traditional hint after the credits leaves you curious and excited for more.
My vote - definitely worth seeing.

Right now, I have watched most of it, Howard Stern gave it excellent reviews but so far I am not impressed by the movie. One of these been there done that type of movies.
Only con Stern said was, It was odd Thor is a Huge guy, While Natalie Portman is 4 foot something, So she was like a fidget and it really did not make sense the whole thing was odd.
My opinion from what I have seen and like I said I have seen 3/4 of the movie and I literally turned it off because I found it boring.
Stern is a big fan of super hero movies so maybe that is why he liked the movie, but honestly I wont be tuning in for the last 20 minutes of the movie.
To be fair, These super-hero genre movies are not for me. I bet I will be in the minority and loads of people will enjoy it, but coming from an honest point of view... Its my opinion and I was very disappointed by the movie Thor.
End of Story!

From very young I was fascinated by Norse mythology, avidly reading all I could find information about this area. Unfortunately, no internet then, so it was hard to put together enough information from our libraries. However, I am very happy with the appearance of this film and Kenneth Branagh's choice to direct. Besides the fact that he is a professional, has the advantage of Anglo-Saxon ancestry and his family (even though it boasts more celtico-Irish in origin), which makes it more suitable for the role than on any Active director films the action. I think this is a win for the film.
Now, with the risk of being cursed, can not agree with the nomination of a black actor (Idris Elba, very good, in fact, in his previous roles) to portray Heimdallr called "white god" in the Edda. Not racist, at least in film, I have a different view on the appearance of Norse gods. But, well, that's
In other news, I must confess that I'm not an avid fan of comic books. Sure, I enjoyed many films inspired by this area (the last two Batman or X-Men series), but I'm afraid that this movie will not make the mythology that made ??300 in history.
