"Gangs" among friends create problems??

I have a lot of friends and I want everyone to stay in touch with me even after my college days. But the problem with my class is, there are many gangs among my friends. All activities are restricted within the gang...only a few are shared with everyone. I too have a gang....a gang of 10 friends. We will be always together in everything we do, wherever we go..... The same is happening with other gangs too... What bothers me is that after the college dayz, will the friendship be maintained only within the gang? IF that is gonna happen, then slowly everyone will be forgotten by everyone. NO get-together's, no outings and even if such things happen , those will be inside the "gangs". If this thought comes into my mind, I just want to break all the gangs. But it's not possible, because my college life is gonna end wihtin a month..... Hav anybody had such bad experiences? Are such things usually happen among friends?
