Facebook as a good way of communicating?

I posted a message on a wall of a female friend of mine who I really like but I mistakenly posted the wrong emoticon and for some reason, although I explained it to her, she got very angry. So is Facebook or the internet in general a good tool to communicate or is it more of a relationship-killer?

I think that Facebook can be more of a relationship killer more than a great tool to communicate. I make sure that I choose my words very correctly when I am talking to someone on this site. People seem to take great offense to what you are saying even when you don't mean any harm. It can also be a great tool for the ones that don't get so upset over any and everything that is said their way though.

I don't have a facebook account, i will not make one too, some body may post there as you say, that might be enough to enoy me, so dear friend, no head, no headache..

Yes its a good way of communicating for me.I have a lot of friends an family over season,and more of them are on Facebook.
Facebook a is a way of reunited back old friends from the pass as well.
for me its a good way of communication,an i am a active member their daily too.

Yes Facebook is a really good way to communicate.But sometimes you should not believe everything posted on Facebook.However for me this is one way of entertainment and also a chat with friends.

well it depends. I'd say facebook is one of the best social networking site out there. communicating with sumone yew havnt met for ages is possible on facebook. Of what yew said, may be yewr friend took it in a wrong way, but facebook is definately not a relationship killer. Ahh, but in some cases facebook has been the main reason for alot of breakups, is what I have read on the internet.

sometimes when you communicate over the internet or by text messege it can be taken the wrong way especially when you dont use any emotions at all like me. Its alot better sometimes to talk in person on the other hand its good if you have friends that are far away.
