why google took many days for approval of adsense account?

i have applied for google adsense on my site for more than 5 days yet there is no report about my account when they will give me report as they normally took so much of time for approval?

It can take a couple of weeks, I think. I don't remember exactly how long mine took to set up but I know I wondered what was happening, the same as you. I think mine was 10 days or so.
