Most dangerous enemy in life is ourselves?

This philosophy comes from 14 big things in human life of ancient Chinese. What do you think really the biggest enemy we are ourselves? Why? In what way he was the biggest and most dangerous enemy? Who sees that Satan wants us to go to hell? It does what in us the most damaging ourselves? The lust of the eyes? The lust of the flesh? The lust of power? how to fight against Satan?

i think it because we cant control our self when someone push us to do a thing,and yes you're right that ourselves is the most dangerous enemy in our life.because we are the controller of it,the one who could do to make our heart suffer in pain,in emotion.

In no way am I religious, nor do I believe in Satan, but I DO believe that we are our own biggest enemy. I take responsibility for my actions, even though I am the one that causes the issues in which I need to take responsibility. I can only keep myself from succeeding, and only I can decide what to do with my life.
We damage ourselves mostly by not believeing in ourselves. We are our own worst enemy. We hinder ourselves from doing the things we need to do, we cause ourselves to fail when we do.
