I have recently participated in our company outing last May 1 2011 at Dahilayan Adventure Park. Initially, I was not excited to join considering that I will be the sole attendee in our branch (my officemates are preoccupied). Unexpectedly though, I had a blast experiencing the different activities that DAP offered: Zorb, 840 m zipline (I might add, the longest zipline in Asia!), ATV riding, horseback riding, etc. I've personally tried their Zipline and ATV and I must say, the experience brought me to great heights! The staff and crew are most helpful and hospitable. Anybody who avail of their rides and services will be highly delighted. The place is exquisitely divine. The place is perfect for family gathering, company outing (like what we had), and other business and personal functions. With that experience at stored in mind, I was contemplating in exploring to other different areas of our country, Philippines. Fellow myLotters, would you care to give me suggestions as to where my next destination may be? Your input would be most appreciated..

I was there last March! And conquered my fears when I did the zipline! It's awesome! There are many beautiful places in the country. For the first quarter, I've visited Puerto Princesa in Palawan (must! the underground river is amazing), mountain climbing at the pristine Mt. Timbac at Benguet (we had a beautiful night rest because the moon was full, and overlooking the valley below, there was a sea of clouds!) and last March CdO-Camiguin-Bukidnon (funfilled! highlights - Mt. Katibawasan at Camiguin, Whitewater rafting at CdO and Dahilayan). April, I had to rest as it's taking its toll on my finances.

Oops, Katibawasan FALLS at Camiguin. I see that you're from Davao. I hear it's a beautiful place! I have that on my list of places to go!

Ohhh, yes!!! Thanks to Piso Fare and other seat sales of Cebu Pac, Airphil, PAL, etc! Lemme see, I have Bohol, but my travel buddy's been there already so I might look for other people to join me. Or maybe I'll do a side trip this June as we're going Cebu!!!! Do vist us here at Luzon sometime! Though currently living here at Metro Manila, I was born and raised in Baguio City (well, La Trinidad, Benguet to be exact) and the weather's really different there. You might find it intersting to visit there sometime. Further up north, there's Ilocos.

Wow, you are such an adventure/ travel freak! I love you already! (hahaha).. Anyways, I suggest (well, after you recuperate financially anyway) that you go to Bohol. Panglao beach is absolutely beautiful, Loboc river is also a sight to see as well as chocolate hills. I'm planning to go to Palawan with friends early next year and I will be looking forward to experience the things that you've already did. Yup, I am currently in Davao city but I was born and raised at Cagayan de oro. With that said, I already tried water rafting at CDO and it was also a very memorable experience for me. It nice knowing that you will be visiting Davao too..I assure you that you will be enjoying your trip here as well!

Hi Sophiecheer! Would you care to tell me where in the Philippines is Dahilayan Adventure Park? Maybe i could also visit that in the future. Have you tried going to Bicol Region? You could try CWC of Camarines Sur , go watch Butanding at Donsol, go ziplining at Embarcadero de legazpi and also spend the night at Misibis Resort , in Bacacay, Albay. Embarcadero De Legazpi's zipline is exciting , since you will do the ziplining traversing the sea. Or you can try the zipline also at EcoPark where you can also try their ATV.

Oh,how silly of me to forget to mention the exact location of DAP! It is situated at Manolo, Fortich Bukidnon. It is a four hour drive from Davao city. I might just do what you had suggested: vacation at Bicol. I might be tempted to bring my family as well so that we can have our super bonding moments. Crucial question though, on your estimate, how much will it costs for a family of 4 to make this trips possible?

Well, it depends if you have a car actually. And it also depends where here in Bicol you would like to go and whether you have relatives here in Bicol ,where you could stay while vacationing.
