We want to get relief from routine life, but still want to be there always, why?

Most of people I met always complain that they are bored of their daily life, well I am not an exception; and so I know when any other duty, different kind of responsibility calls us we become accept it happily. But after few days or weeks we feel a keen desire to be back to our routine duty with our old pals. Why this happend to us? what you think?

Oh what can i say, I hate my Job but I cant resign because its the only Job I know I can have so i have to stay in this boring office for eternity. Its not the kind of life I want to live but I don't have the money to escape this boring edgeless life. Oh also ever since my promotion many people started hated me because my job have something to do with firing people. Many people who used to be my friends hates me because of my new position.
