I am sure that you might have tasted fruits in your life at least once. Fruits are meant to be nutritious and our sole companions which makes them our best friends. When it comes to uses of fruits, it is never ending! Fruits are consumed as food by millions of people in the form of salads, soups, juices, jams, pickles, etc. Many thousands of fruits, including fleshy fruits like apple, peach, pear, watermelon and mango are equally valuable as human food, eaten both fresh and as jams, marmalade and other preserves. Many fruits are used to make beverages, such as fruit juices (like orange juice, apple juice, grape juice, mango juice, etc.)or alcoholic beverages, such as wine or brandy. Fruits are also used for gift giving, FRUIT BASKET and FRUIT BOUQUET are some common examples of fruit gifts. Olive fruits are used to make olive oil. Spices like vanilla, paprika, allspice and black pepper are made from berries. Fruits give you all the essential nutrients and vitamins. Fruits are generally high in fiber, water, vitamin C and sugars, although this latter varies widely from traces as in lime, to 61% of the fresh weight of the date. Fruits also contains various phytochemicals that do not yet have an RDA/RDI listing under most nutritional factsheets, and which research indicates are required for proper long term cellular health and disease prevention. Regular consumption of fruit is associated with reduced risks of cancer, cardiovascular disease (especially coronary heart disease), stroke, Alzheimer disease, cataracts, and some of the functional declines associated with aging. Diets that includes a sufficient amount of potassium from fruits and vegetables also help to reduce the chance of developing kidney stones and may help reduce the effects of bone-loss. Fruits are also low in calories which would help lower ones calorie intake as part of a weight loss diet. You know that fruits also makes you feel better. Several stories have told us about people that were frequently depressed and how they got out of their depression slowly but surely after consuming substantial amounts of fresh fruits regularly. It is proved that fruits are very advantageous and nutritious. So, I advice you to consume fruits on regular basis, it will improve your health and makes you feel better.

Hi Nitu! Thank you for that informative post. As we all know that fruits are very good for our body. Our grocery list would not be complete without fruits on it. I usually buy apples and grapes. Most of the time I bring apples to work for my breakfast and grapes are my son's favorite fruit and helps prevent constipation. I always make sure we have them on the fridge so we can snack on them whenever we like.

If I don't eat a fruit whole or diced, I will definitely drink juice that has fruit in it. I love fruits, ever since I was a teenager. I will make sure that I eat more fruits everyday, no matter what. Thanks for this information here, it has been really healthful and helpful.

I like all types of fruits! I love eating them in lieu of junk foods for snacks. I noticed that when i eat lots of fruits in a day, my waste elimination is simply fantastic! Sometimes, i would forego of dinner and just eat one whole ripe pineapple. Early the next morning, i would be wakened up by my urge to go to the comfort room already.
