What do people consider if they are going to choose a great leader for their country? Do people also consider the religion background of a running president? What if the person is a satanist, but knows how to rule the country smoothly and effectively? Are they going to choose that person to be the president of their country? Let us say, the running president is not a christian. He maybe a satanist, muslim or any other religion except christian. He is not a christian. Some people view those that are non-christians as anti-christ because they are not christian. Are they going to vote that president which knows how to rule effectively to his country even if he is not a christian or even if he has different beliefs from christians? --- or rather not to vote him as a president because they prefer a president who is a christian even if they knew from the start that the running president is lack of ability to rule the country? Let us say, ten people who wants to be a president, but only one is a christian. Are those people in the society consider first the religion background of a president before they decided to vote? What do people consider if they are going to choose an effective and good leader for their country?

I do have a simple question with your argument introvertshy. The thing is, how can a person be a good leader if he is a satanist? Wouldn't he be leading us to a path of destruction or unrighteousness. I would have to say that as long as a person has really strong values as guided by whatever religion he has then that's one good criteria to check upon. Being a good leader means knowing how to distinguish the right from wrong so as to make good decisions in running a government or a country. Good values and good background is one thing and skills are additional quality that I would look for in a good leader to vote.

Oh. He he I am not arguing anyone. I am just asking question. --- and hmmmm --- I think, not all satanists are immoral and evil. The same with atheists if all of us are open minded to the different belief system we had here on this world. They just have different beliefs and I am referring to humanist satanists like us, not religious satanists who killed people and destruct human life. I mean, they act and think like us christians. It means, they are normal people like us. I knew about satanists, but I am not a satanist. I just learn it from someone who happen to be a satanist and he called himself as a philosophical satanist. I remember Adolf Hitler. He is a christian, but christian people perceive him as unrighteousness and the one who lead a destruction during his time. Most people perceive him as a bad leader who kills hundreds of people --- so I think, satanist are normal people like us --- he he I just included satanist because it is a non-christian denomination --- the same with other religions like buddhism, hinduism, muslim and so on.

We are not going to discriminate those people who wants to become a leader, even though they are not christian but they have the right to rule. Religious affiliation is not the only criteria in selecting the right leader but we need to consider the totality as a person that are capable to become a leader.

filipino vote - they chose the populr and the money giver kind
Hello Introvertshy, To be honest, I don't really give a damn about the religion of that person. it would have been a lot better if they were not too religious perse. we have so many christians who are in politics but nothing more but a bunch of corruptive scum bags here and there.some of them even go to church even though they have done something terribly wrong in secret. What I want is a man or a women who has the experience (not corruption) in Public Service, mainly in the executive expertise. and knows the issues and problems of our country provided he or she knows how to solve it in order. Yeah, since we are dominantly christian we prefer some one who is a christian also. but am sick of it.we need some one with experience and iron fist. have a nice day.

For me my criteria for selecting a great leader, he/she should be Christian, with God fear, good family background, with long and good publich background as a leader. There is a good education nal background and no record of corruptions... see you around
