surprise for mom

My mom is already 86 years old, and is into senility. So, surprises wouldn't really get into her. However, mom loves parties. She enjoys listening to laughter, music and conversations. So what I usually do is to prepare dinner for the whole family and since she has a sweet tooth, buy her a cake or pastries. This coming mother's day, I'm still thinking whether to do the same usual thing or something different like going to the beach. What about you?
