Just this morning, i checked by bank account through an ATM, I found out that it was credited with a little bit large amount of money. I was surprised because i was not expecting to have one. My sister abroad never told me that she will send money today, but i still texted her just to check if she did, and she really did not. I texted my brother as well and i never received a reply from him right away. For almost 2 hours, i was thinking who credited the money in my account. And then my brother replied and said he was the one who deposited the money, but forgot to inform me.
What if i never known who gave me the money, what should i do? How about you guys, will you do?
Maybe, i'll check with the bank, because if someone just made a mistake, i feel that i don't deserve to have that money and i will be very guilty if i will spend it.

Good that to hear that you have such a good relationship with your close one's that they even send you money. I wish even I had someone like that who would give me money.
Yes, I appreciate your concern about money being credited by someone else by mistake. That is the best thing you can do. Even God will be impressed and sure to shover blessing on you.
Good Luck!!

If there is an anonymous credit on my account, I think I would just ignore it. If some family member or friend deposited it, I would think that they would eventually tell me that they gave me money and if the bank had made a mistake, I think that they would eventually fix it. Of course, during the wait to see if it was a mistake or not, I would be secretly hoping it is a little free gift that I could keep

Hey there,
Since your brother confirmed he surprisingly deposited money and if it coincides with the amount in the bank then I would take it as a gift and not question the bank. If you are uncomfortable with the amount and think maybe there is an error it would be okay to ask the bank. If it is correct then no problem the bank will not mind. But if there is an error they will eventually find it and deduct it from your account. So best to check in case you find that it is an error which later can cause you to have to pay fees if you use it and it does not belong to you.
I too was surprised in my PayPal and felt leery like you but as luck had it for me it was my daughter who deposited it a a surprise to me. Since the amount she stated was the exact amount, I did not have to worry.
Good luck and again just for security you might just want to call the bank. If all is well, do not spend it all in one place.

I would do the same too. When i have checked all my suspected benefactors for the money sent and they still negate it, i will contact my bank to ask who sent me the money.
That way, i can be sure that what is in my bank account is really mine, because it could really mean also that the bank could have just misposted it to my account. By that, it could be corrected and credited to the rightful recipient.
