Cheating is a crime when a person does it with malice. Because this is one of the commandment of God. That cheating is a sin...therefor to materialize that cheat is crime. It should be prove it's actions and consequences. For example: A wife cheat her husband...when the husband, find it out about the cheating done by his wife. He will now file a case of adultery...this is the result of cheating.
Therefor, I would say that cheating is not a crime unless it will materialized by any criminal acts. This is only a sin...

Well, its morally dubious, I'll tell you that much. And really, its not a crime as much as much as it is a sketchy thing. And something that is against the policy of many places such as school. Those who copy off of another student, have been known to been expelled if caught and proven to have cheated on their exams. I saw it happen before and believe me, it would not have happened, if these people had not been rather careless and done it more than once.
Cheating is really something that is not against the law(although it may be illegal somewhere, I'd imagine), but it is something that is frowned upon by the most of society. There are a lot of things that are not made illegal, but they are something that you really should not do. Therefore, it is really something that is dubious and those who are proven to cheat, no matter what the circumstances are, tend to be shunned.

hello,
Actually, it is depends on the situations on how do you cheat. Their are times that you cheat thorough doing a pirate cd like you are taking video while it is playing on the cinema. Or cheat when you are in the exam ,and even cheat with your wife/husband that is a crime.

What kind of answer do you mean? If you're talking about exams and the like, it is definitely a crime. In fact, it's probably always a crime, no matter what field it is. It means you would have achieved something not from your own hard work but through others.
