I had just the most humiliating experience in my life! On my way to the bank for some work related concern, I boarded a tricycle. My office is a mere 5 minute ride to the bank. Whilst on the vehicle, I notice this fellow passenger who is a foreigner. He was seated at my back and was constantly talking. It appeared to me that he was talking with another fellow passenger. It was not my character to pry to other people's conversation but at that time, I noticed that the foreigner keep on talking out loud that he is starting to get annoying to me. I did not actually understand the conversation because I kept on trying to shut it out of my system and I was hoping to arrive at my destination ASAP so I may be able get down to business. After a grueling three minutes, the foreigner finally took off from the vehicle..I was relieved! After which, I was taken aback when the driver and the other fellow passengers started to burst out laughing..I realized that the foreigner was actually directing his conversation with me! The driver said that the foreigner keep on directing remarks about me and my "exquisite" beauty(hahaha!) and all throughout I kept on ignoring him. Feeling flattered, I started to laugh with them until I realized that I missed taking off at the appointed street. I hurriedly told the driver to stop and immediately took off and started to head to the bank. Walking halfway there, I realized that there was a commotion at my back. It was the driver and he kept shouting at me! Turns out that I forgot to pay my fare. Bashfully, I apologized and paid my dues. It was embarrassing because there was a lot of people on the street and they must be thinking that I am trying to con the driver by not paying my fare!

I had a great laugh reading your post. Well, it happens sometimes. Just laugh about it and forget about it. By posting it here, you just immortalized your most embarrassing experience. But who knows, it may generate revenue for you. You have great potential for writing and storytelling. Good luck. I hope you add me as a friend.
