After 9-1/2 years family of the 9/11 victims got word OBL has been killed. Obama refuses to let these people view the pictures. The white house has released pictures of three men that was killed with OBL laying in pools of bright red blood. Should family of 9/11 victims be allowed to view the pictures if they wish?

If they can release photos of Gitmo why can't they release the photos of OBL.
They say it will inflame the mslums if we show they body. The muslums have no quam about displaying photos and videos of what they do soldiers and civilians they capture.

Hi "bobmnu"
I must strongly disagree on that point. A point of fact; America CAN NOT afford to get involved even more deeply than it is in more conflict in the middle east. As for your point about "Muslm" revenge, I should think Americans are better than that. Would that be the Christian way? I don't think so.
The country is really in "BAD" shape socially and politically when its people do not believe their own government's announcement of OBL's demise. When I say Americans are better than that, I mean they usually stop and work things out including all of the senarios that COULD occur. I believe that's what the government did in this case. The reprecussions of showing those photos would probably have triggered an all out war with Islam and that America could not afford at this point in time as it relates to manpower and resources. ($$$$$$$'s)

They should release those photos or there will be some that Osama is still alive. The public and especially those who had family murdered in 911 deserve to know that the one responsible is no more.

Hi "suspenseful",
Hang in there and keep watching the major news networks. Today it was announced there are three photos of the burial at sea that will show without question "THEY GOT THEIR MAN" . Now I know all of the "doubters" out there won't believe it but you see, people that are like that cannot be told anything except what they they think and they will continue to doubt anyway. They can't be changed.
Sorry for the diversion; anyway according to a leading mainstream news network about an hour and a half ago my time,a leading spokes person announced that there were in fact photos of the remains of OBL post operation. Photos that without question show him DECEASED". It was further stated in rather graphic terms even for today's TV press by someone who saw the procedings how the remains were prepared and the wound itself. Based on what he described I do not think the world at large is ready for what they would witness. IT AIN'T PRETTY!
Anyway, the burial photos WILL be aired.
I might add this person described the physical damage one shot in the head...
I think it will be worth wathing world wide. What do you think?

The family? Yes. But I'm not in favor of them being released for the enitre public to see. Only because I don't want the picture to fuel the fire extremists already have. Granted, I don't think the Islamic extremists are going to come up with anything extra that they didn't already plan to do. I just don't want the picture used as propaganda. So a meeting where the family of the victims get to see the picture? Sure thing. But I don't particularly want the world to have access. I'm really surprising myself saying that. Normally I would be like, show the whole world the picture. Who cares. But not today anyway...
