Work abroad OR Take the Board Exam agAin????

im so confused on what to do.
im planning to go to the city and apply abroad,
but my father wants me to take the board exam again,
i failed once and im not going take again since im not yet ready,
i want to work out side then earn money, save money then come back to my home town
and take the board exam, i want to take the board exam when im ready, when im
sure i wil pass it, not just because they said it.
my problem is, my father wont financially support me if i wont be taking the board exam this year.. im so confused.. :(

I think it's better to take the exam first.It's tough to find a job now and if you're not a board passer your chances of finding a good is low.The sooner you take the exam the better,at least what you learned as a student is still applicable.If you will wait to take the exam after two years or more the trends for now may not be the same.

Well unless you can have other sources of funds to support your applications, you don't have any choice but to give in to your father's wishes.
It's not at all that bad. You can just take the board exam again while the information is still fresh from your brain. Because when you start working, most of what you have studied will just be forgotten. You would exert twice the effort as when you just graduated from school and you also get distracted when you are working at the same time studying to take the board exam. You are lucky because your father is willing to support your exam while others haven't got that same opportunity. Go ahead take the exam, make good and make your father proud. Passing the NCLEX will give you a better chance of employment someday. Good Luck!
