(THIS IS A FOR INSTANCE SCENARIO. IT CAN BE TRUE OR NOT. IT IS DEPENDENT ON MANNY"S FIGHT. DON'T FLAME OR RATE ME NEGATIVELY FOR BEING UNPATRIOTIC. THAT WILL BE THE WORST EXCUSE I WILL EVER HEAR.)
Manny has been victorious in his boxing fights and enjoyed a great career in recent years. He has faced many boxers and many times it was predicted that he would lose. Thankfully, he hasn't.
However, it cannot be helped to ASSUME (capitals for emphasis) that this might be the instance that he could lose. After all, at the end of the match there is a winner and there is a loser in the ring. What would you feel if Manny loses this fight?
Please be as objective and respectful as possible.

For me, if he loses this fight, then a rematch could be done again in the future.
This is to really prove if someone has really gotten his crown already. Just like what happened to one who has beaten him before. They had a rematch , and he won.

The people and Manny might clamor for a rematch if he does lose. However, there is a question of what really drives him to fight even if he does the rematch. Surely, he doesn't fight for wealth...he has that already. He a ton of investments and his financial stability is already assured. He can have a lot of endorsements if he does lose(but more if he wins). (As of this writing, I read that he now has a global endorsement for HP and the first congressional billionaire). He does have a congressional seat and his constituents to keep busy. Apart from that, he has his family and children to raise. I'm not saying that he should retire, that's his prerogative but I think that he should exit in glory, not in the wake of a defeat that might haunt him for years to come.

I think he is doing it , to prove to himself if he really cannot be defeated yet .
In addition, i guess he may be doing it for more money, because as he has said in one interview, he wants to help his poor constituents and wants a hospital to be erected in his province, so maybe the money will be used for it.

I do agree that Manny will be better off resigning while he is still in his glory days. But then again, it is not for ours to decide right? But given the accomplishments and victories that he had attained and is currently enjoying, I do not think he needed more. It makes me wonder how long he will have that "lucky streak", as others may label it. What do you think?

Not that I want him to lose but...
Even if he loses, I know it doesn't matter anyway.. He has made his mark in boxing history already, and has gained millions of fans around the world. Losing his match on Mosley won't matter because everyone considers him a great boxer. Losing one fight certainly doesn't change anything.
Hmmmm..Except maybe if Mosley knocks him out and wins the match in just 1 Round, then that would be a totally different story. I'll bet the world will totally hate on Pacman if that happens..hahahaha...
But like I said, whether he loses on his match with Mosley doesn't matter anyway. Sure, his record would add another 1 point lose, but everyone will forever remember him as a one hell of a boxing champ.

I'm not a boxing expert but you're right, there's always the probability that Manny will be defeated. But I think the probability of Manny losing against Mosley is small. But if that happens, there's always a rematch and another chance again for Manny to earn millions of dollars. As the experts say, Mosley has everything to gain and nothing to lose in this fight so chances are he's going to give it his best since losing would mean the end of his career, well, what's left of it anyway. All it takes is a lucky punch that would sent manny down the canvass, either that or it's the other way around.

I'm not much of a boxing fan and I have never seen a fight of Manny, so I don't really think I would be affected in a big way but since my fiancée is a huge fan I guess I would have to suffer though a tirade of his thoughts about Manny losing...
BUT I'm confident he'll win, maybe secretly I am a fan

His winning streak is now 13-0. He hasn't lost for a very long time. I can't even remember who he lost to the last time. Was it Morales or Marquez?
Anyway, I too wish he would hang up his gloves and retire now that he's still on top of the world. I don't like the idea of him losing his last fight, if this turns out to be his last fight.
But good luck to Manny.
Here's an interesting trivia for you ( a little joke about Manny) :)
If you rearrange the letters in QUIAPO, you would get PQUIAO.
Long live MANNY PQUIAO!

so what if he loses? he's proven himself countless time already. anyway, if he loses this time, he'll still be filthy rich so don't pity him. boxing is a sport that the player with the best skills excels but there's also luck. a stray punch on the jaws is all it takes to bring your opponent hit the canvas.

Well of course I would feel disappointed since I am a Proud Pinoy too.I am worrying of the same thing so I guess Manny should retire while his reputation is still good. I mean he shouldn't stay in boxing for too long because the more fights he win and the higher he climbs, the harder is the cost if he falls. But for his upcoming fight, I am really crossing my fingers and praying. I hope he wins this one for us pinoys.
