When my kids are still younger, I usually stay at their room so that I could easily know if the get up or they need something. When you have little kids, it's really hard to left them in their own room. I'm just lucky that my eldest daughter is a teenager already and a very responsible one, I could trust my youngest daughter with her. These days that they were on vacation, they usually sleep at night with their grandparents. My youngest would tell me that she woke up in the middle of the night because of leg cramps and her sister would attend to her needs, massaging her legs until she could sleep again. I'm very fortunate to have them both as my daughters.

My oldest is 5 so I can't trust him with mutch, he is likely to wake the little one just to see if he can get him to laugh.

Even with kids we stay up way too late at night. We have a 12 year old and a 14 month old. The big age difference helps a lot. My son likes to get up early to get his school work done, when my husband doesn't have to work, he is the first one up for the day. There are many mornings he gets up to work, will be up a hour or two, then my daughter will get up and my son will just get her out of her crib and they will have breakfast together.

I miss those days when I could sleep as long as I want in my pregnancy, I just liked to sleep until like after 10 o'clock, slep again after eating lunch, slept again after tea time... I miss those days when I was able to do that especially the night time, since my baby was born, none of the days I could sleep through because he wakes up at night at leats 1 times - I call myself lucky when he only wakes up once. Lots of people say they will sleep through the night when they turn 1 year old... I'm hoping so.

That's really hard when kids wake up at wee hours and we are in deep sleep.
I remember being a first time mother, and when my baby cries at night and i can't pacify her, then i also started crying (hahaha)
have a great weekend ahead
