do you give considerable time in dressing up

I do. So the night before, I already prepare what I am to wear to the office specially when it’s our “free day” , meaning not in uniform. I would ready too the bag and shoes that compliments it.
However, sometimes when the morning comes as I am dressing up and looked my self in the mirror, if it seems I don’t look good on it, I would choose other clothes. Hence, the bag and the shoes would change too, if they don’t compliment anymore to my get up.
Are you like that too?

I can say that I pay attention to what I am wearing, however I am not the diligent as to prepare the night before. I just decide when about to dress what should I wear today and what accessories to go with it, also what shoes to match the outfit and go...

I only do that when i am going to the office. If not, i would just choose jeans and t-shirt and shoes to match before i go out.

Since I am working in a company where fashion is not allowed unless the ones the company produced so I would not bother much what I should wear to the office. Often it's just T-Shirt, knee length denim and sport shoes.
I would start paying attention to dressing when I am bout to go with friends hanging out in cafes or malls....

Nice that you are in a company that allows you to dress casually. I also like that.

maybe i was once like you when i was in college. i look at magazines to learn what is the trend and try to find a cheaper one in the malls or something like it if not very the same. but now that im a mother of two kids, and have a daughter, i apply that to her. i love dressing her like a doll and we do window shopping together. we also exchange ideas if i look good with what i am wearing and vice versa. she is only 9 years old but he loves dressing up games. and that where he got all her ideas about the trends.

But do you prepare your clothing the night before or ahead of time, whenever you are to go to an occasion too?

It takes a long time for me just to dress up. That's really somehting I can't help. I've tried to make it faster. But I just can't do it the right way I want it to be. I don't really prepare what I am going to wear the night beofer I am to wear it. I'm tired whenever I get back home so I go to bed as soon as I arrive and get some sleep. :)

Really, you sleep at once as soon as you arrive?
I envy you for that ability. Me, i have a certain habit of not being able to sleep until all that i have in mind to do first is already okay. One of those is preparing my clothes and others to be used the next day to work. But when it's uniform day, it's not that way.

Like you, I also feel bad, if i am not satisfied with the dress and the make up. But what can I do. I do not get time to change the dresses and do something to add my beauty. It is because of work load. Every time when I go out, I spend five minutes to get ready. If I take more time, I will get scold from my husband. I spent lots of time for my make-ups and dressing before my marriage. There were nobody to question me.

My husband is like that too. So whenever we have to go out , i dress and put on my make-up, before waking him up to prepare also.

Yeah it feels good to be organized and complete, whatever you do. And when it comes to dressing, i also be very careful and be on guard to wear those stuff where i look neat, decent, simple and which reveals a bit of fashion sense in you.

Correct! Dressing should also be given attention. Sometimes the way we dress is what makes or breaks us with some people.

There had been times when I would spend 4-5 hours trying out outfits which never seem right just to see a couple of friends so yes, I do give a lot of thinking to what I wear. Sometimes, it would take me an hour just to pick out clothes to wear for uni class. I can't ever just throw on something and be on my way because it makes me feel crappy and unkempt the whole day which lowers my self confidence. It just makes me wish that the day is over so I can go home.

I am with you on that.
Whenever i have worn something out of haste, i would feel sloppy wearing it at the office and can't wait for dismissal to come.

Hi simplyd!^^
Yes, I'm like that. Though, I don't actually ready the clothes and bags in the evening. Sometimes I do it if I'm about to take off very early in the morning. But usually, I just plan in my head about what to wear during the night before I go out the next day. Because if I don't, I tend to get late for work or for any appointment. It takes me a lot of time to choose what to wear so I have to do it early. There are times that if I "don't have anything to wear" (despite the bulk of clothes in my closet), I just stand in front of my closet and stare at my clothes. So I get late.^^ That is why it's really important for me to at least think about what to wear the next day or think of what's in my closet.

I think girls are basically like that.
That's also the reason why i get to ready the night before , what i am going to wear for the office the next day so that i won't get late to the office. But aside from that, i do have an extra 10 minutes in the morning for "emergency" like that.

Yes, we have to make ourselves always presentable at all times specially when you are about to face other people. It gives us so much confidence when we do that. So, it's justifiable to give it a bit of our time.

Yes, that's why i have to already prepare it the night before , so choosing what to wear will not take most of time. I hate to be late to the office .

I do this when the situation needed it, like for example going to an occasion where there are dress code or some job interviews. But most often, I prefer pants and blouse or a shirt, just the casual. I don't know but I feel uncomfortable when I wear a dress or skirts and heels, maybe because I'm not used to wearing them

Well , on special occasions where we there is a dress code, i would really look for the appropriate clothes even a week before.

I guess, you are not working yet. In our office, it is a must that we be in business attire. That's why i choose my clothes well so it will always be appropriate for the office .
But just like you , in my ordinary outings i dress quickly, in pants and t-shirts.

Precisely, everything must be in order a night before. MOst often, I ask opinion from my mom or sister as to what would be the best outfit so I would look presentable. It took long hours for me to choose what to wear and make sures that they all compliment with each other.

Choosing clothes could really take a long time. A dress that fits you a month ago, might not fit well anymore, when you wear it this time , so you have to try them on the night before ,just to be sure it still looks good on you. Besides, we really have to choose an accessory , shoes and a bag that will compliment it.
