So, I was charging my phone last night, then my boyfriend called. My phone was on about 15% but i answered anyway while on charging. After 30 minutes or so, the phone call stopped so i checked the phone and notice it was very warm ( i was using my earphones then so i had no idea my phone heated). It was also as if turned off so i tried turning it back on but it won't, and its not charging also. I left it overnight without charging thinking it must have overheated so i left it resting there. This morning i tried charging it on the socket but still no luck. I tried the power and home button pressing them at the same time but still, doesn't work. I tried charging it on my computer but it only heats the phone but doesn't charge...please please please help me...

It sounds like the battery is short curciting and well you can't overcharge modern phones as modern chargers will actually stop charging the phone or the phone will switch to running off of the wall charge only and will only charge to a certain point so that they won't overcharge as this would cause the battery to burst in which case you would of noticed the phone leaking some fluid that would melt other things. So something is broken in the phone the heat is being caused by the short curcit or the Batteries plus and negative sides being directly connected to each other which will cause the Battery to heat up and will cause the phone to run into some serious issues. In any case you need to take it in and have it fixed or get a new one as something inside broke but it wasn't due to overcharging..
