I live in kerala state and I have never seen anyone walking their dog.Being a dog lover i can't let my dog stay inside the house every time.So i take my dog for at least 1 walk a day.The thing i hate is that I get lot of stares from people because of walking with dog..lol.Some people say comments also.I wish i lived in a place where people take their dog for walking instead of keeping it chained 24/7. Do people walk their dog in the place you live?

I love to see dog owners walk their dogs. But I am lucky to live in a place where we are spaced apart and dogs have room to run a yard. So not many walk their dogs around here. Dogs are not meant to be chained up or confined into one little spot. Dog owners need to exersie their dogs so I love seeing them out walking the dogs.

I don't think a dog would be happy with a backyard. We have a small yard around our house and my dog only goes out of the house if he wants to urinate. But he seems to be very excited when i take him for a walk.

It's depend on the place we live as you said people disagree of seeing this conditions in your country, However, if you go to US or Europe you can see many different people walk with their dogs, so it's all about people vision.
