Pressed the BACK Button. Lost your discussion... not so fast.

I was playing around with MyLot and how it operated and INTENTIONALLY hit the back button and then pressed the forward button to get back to the page that comes after you post (adding tags). Low and behold my work was NOT there when I pressed the BACK button but when I pressed the forward button it WAS there. Another way to save your work if you accidentally hit the BACK button and lose (or thought you lost) all your work! Thanks Zelo

really? usually this would have been lost in my browser. iwould get some weird bad request or some unable to load. next time i would try this. but on the safer side, i always copy my response and discussion so wherever it may have gone, i will just paste it again. reloading the page will also lose the hard typed words! hehe =)

Yes either copying after you type everything or typing in Notepad or an external place and then pasting everything in is the safest way to go. I have written a post about that which you can find on my wall. Thanks Zelo

Well I am glad that chrome has this function. My old IE browser do not and sometimes I find it troublesome to type it again.

Yeah I think we all feel the same way about that and it really shouldn't be up to the browser to do that... just my opinion on that one. Thanks Zelo

Wow. I didn't know that. I usually copy my discussion just in case it does not post the first time, I can repost it. Thanks for letting us know that.

Yeah had nothing better to do than to play around to see if that would actually work or not and to my surprise... it did! Thanks Zelo
