LASITH MALINGA will get the PURPLE CAP ..............any one disagree????

Malinga has been superb in this IPL no one is able to play out his yorkers well. he is one of the big factor the top position of mumbai team in this IPL. Even his team partner Jayawardhane become his victim. He has already taken 22 wickets in just 9 matches. I dont think no one will overtake this wicket haul in this IPL. Even if he goes back to Lanka now still he will get purple cap, he is such a devestating bowler. next highest wicket taker has just 12 in his kitty. I think round arm action has made him very difficult to handle, and hope that he will pick at least 30 wickets towards the end of this tournament.

It is not possible to predict how many wickets he may get, but it is for sure that no one is gonna pass him taking more wickets in this edition, even he stop taking wickets within few days, he won't be surpassed. Because, before stopping Malinga will ensure to take such number of wickets that no one can surpass him. His yorkers are definitely his best weapon but he knows how to apply it well by not wasting it.

These days Malinga is not taking much wickets but he has scalped so much till date that he can now rest in peace. No one gonna surpass him anyway. I wonder why doesn't he wear that purple cap in the matches. He wears MI cap always. Isn't it ? Is that more better for him ? Does he want to say he is a true a MI player ?

ya he is taking wickets in huge amount and making sure that purple caps stay on his head in this IPL. surely he is using his yorkers very very effectively.

ya Mallinga will get the purple cap for this IPL season. he is in superb form and picking wickets easily. no one is able to read him well,even sachin would not have played him well if he was on the opposite side..

I'm not diagree and fully agree with the statement that you have made and the bowler who is next to malinga is far behind in respect of taking wickets i don't think there is any bowler who can surpass the malinga in the matter of taking wickets. but friend i think there is solution for playing his yorker bowl i want to share it. Batsman should come forward when he delivers the bowl if the bowl is yorker one become the fultoss bowl and batsman may hit that bowl to outside the boundary and with effect of it malinga will not deliver yorker bowl then the batsman will play in nice way. What you think about my this idea..?

ya yorker will become fulltoss if the batsman comes forward. but he is a fast bowler, so the batsman cannot adjust that much easily. and with his round arm action its not easy to predict whether its yorker or bouncer, that too in a fast delivery.

Yes i will disagree for this. Malinga will not take the PURPLE CAP because he is returning to his country for the coming tournament For SriLanka he will not continue the IPL-4 tournament. Other bowler will take the PURPLE CAP. May be Indian Bowler will take the PURPLE CAP.

hey, Mallinga has retired from test cricket. so no doubt that he will get the purple cap.
