promises are made to be broken

People say that promises are made to be broken, so most people will that don't make any promises just do it.
But what will you feel if someone made a promise to you and swear that he/she will keep it even if it cost their life but they fail to do it?
maybe for me as long as they give a valid reason on why they broke their promise it will be okay for me. how about you?

Yeah, some people used it as an excuse just in case they haven't fulfill what they had promised.For me what's the use of promising it, if the reason is valid I think I can accept that.Most of the time breaking a promise to someone could mean losing her/his trust on you and that could mean more problem.

Okay, this is where I get totally ticked off..I hate that phrase and I think it should be banned!!!!
Promises are not made to be broken, but to ensure that the one making the promise will be honorable to keep it..Those who breaks promises are cowards and don't get my respect at all. (This does excluded broken promises that were not keep due to a real reason)

I think when you commit not to tell a promise, then you should bring it to your grave. I mean, it's something that obviously is important to the person and breaking the promise is like not respecting the person.
I have kept promises and till now I have not broken them. However, it's different with other people, I have had my heart broken a lot of times when I realize that people didn't see that it was important to me.
It's sad really when promises are broken.

The promises made ??by one or the other are the glue of a person change? People do not change even for the sake of the promise: "I promise you I been wrong, I'll be faithful to only you. " but was cut short however as many "A new love. "
Each person will receive more or less than it deserves, but "never as worthy ". Mind is strangled by our desires and feelings of others, we have too few moments of happiness, suffering and pain make our mark on the soul and not often I think as someone told me that: promises days pass and people are engaged in the thicket of facts made ??conjectural or neglected.
Always be careful what you promise to people that force you to keep your promise and others will not take account of it!
To respect a promise means to respect yourself!
AS A MAN TO BE OBSERVED IN YOUR LIFE SHOULD RESPECT THE PROMISES!

hhmm... i think my first reaction will be somehow offended. but of course it wont end in that. i will weigh thing out, i'll look at the situation in all directions, and i'll listen to the other side, well. we're not perfect, and if he/she has a good reason why he/she broke his promise, ten i think i can let it pass.
