yep.. your daily survival kit... we face challenges everyday, we are faced to survive the traffic, the transportation, we have to survive our boss on a daily basis at work... we even have to survive boredom at times... and we ought survive anything that we come across with on a regular basis...
so what do you have with you when you go out, when you have to bring this kit with you.. what will it have? =)
for me, i have first thought of band aids - i thought of this as protection for aching feet when wearing heels...
my eyeglasses, i need this when i have to face the computer at work 8 hours a day!
i need my cologne because it makes me feel refreshed after traveling from home to work and vice versa.
i need my cellular phone too... and earphones to survive boredom in the long travel time alone in public transportation...
money of course... a pen and a flashlight... =)

inside my bag is my, phone, my deodorant, toothbrush, perfume, band aids, a couple of books, ballpen, notepad, my bonnet, sunglasses and my camera. if i leave something from this list then i would feel naked the whole day. a keep a few hundred pesos inside my wallet. i can always go to the nearest bank if the need arises.
but the real survival kit we have is a bag full of stuff like flashlights, extra batteries, cash, bottled water and straw. reason? you might suddenly find yourself waking up cramped inside a building and you're thirsty. you can get hold of the water but to drink it is impossible... hence the straw. loL!

I like to drink juice but I can't live without my laptop and of course my phone. Something missing in the list is the ear plug but I can just use my mouth to tell somebody to shut up if they were noisy.

i realized that i could never leave the house without my eyeglasses because i'm myopic, facial tissue, hand sanitizer, cologne, sunblock (which i also use as a moisturizer), some cash, my credit card, extra underwear and shirt, my cellphone, a pen and a notebook. my dad recently got this mini first aid kit from japan home center and i added that to the must-haves in my bag...needless to say, even when i'm wearing a dress, my bag's always as big as my upper torso.

I think my pair of medicated glasses makes my day very meaningful. I am shortsighted. This means I am unable to view long distance object and see it clearly. I need the support of my glasses to see things that are far off.
There are time I forget my glasses, while on the early morning rush to the office. But I still make effort to get this essential gadget by coming back home even though I will get late to the office at the end of the day!
So, my pair of medicated specs is my survival kit. I can just do without it at the moment!

My survival kit consists of:
My phone - it has evernote on it, which means I can add any ideas I have throughout the day and it automatically syncs to my computer. It also has a voice recorder function, for the days when the lecturer can't record for whatever reason.
My filofax - for the unpredictable social life of a student, and those moments when a lecturer says "oh, this slide might be on the test in 6 months time"
A book - we often have short gaps of half hour or so between lectures, which isn't really enough time for me to be productive (I'd rather study for several hours in one go), but can be boring, especially if friends say they're skipping the next lecture and going home.
Painkillers - Somebody always wants some, and I'd rather give them the painkillers than listen to whining. I mean erm, see somebody in pain....
Deodorant and perfume - Smelling is never an option.
My bank card/lunch.
Have you seen the mini emergency kits available at msandmrs.com? I'm so in love with them, but they won't ship to the UK :(

I carry around my make up incase i have to go anywhere,
A water bottle for if i get thirsty. I carry around paracetomols and hearing aid batteries in case i get a headache or my hearing aid batteries go.
I also carry around my astma inhaler in case my chest closes in.
I have a mobile phone with credit on if i need to call up or text in a emergency.
Another thing i carry with me is my debit card so i can buy things if i get caught short.
I have tissues and a pair of socks in my bag too. (incase it rains or im wearing dolly shoes and my feet get cold). I have glasses in my bag too & pens.
But i don't really use all that. I just use patience

My survival kid includes sweets and a water canteen. Working in the office can really get me hungry. I also bring books sometimes when there's no big project. The smaller things I carry would be money, a comb, at least two pens, a pencil and a small notebook to write down all the boss's instructions in.
