I am very stupid when it comes to technology, so bear with me. I have been a member of a freelance writing site since November. I have never had any problems getting on the site until yesterday. Now, when I type in the address, it is very very slow. Sometimes it then will give me an error message. Other times, after a long time, I can get on the main page to the website, but then after logging in, it takes me to the site, but the graphics are all weird and messed up. One error message said that something was wrong with the gateway.(not sure what that means) I contacted the webmaster, and they said that nothing is wrong on their end. I have tried in Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox. Another weird thing is that I have tried getting on the site from 6 different computers (2 at home, 3 at work, and 1 at my mother's). They still insist that nothing is wrong with the website. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

A Gateway issue could be an issue with an ISP on either your end or theirs and which case it wouldn't effect everyone and the weird graphics would almost be a tell sign of either bad programing or some interference with the line as it is connecting as I am assuming you live in the same city as your work it could be a local DNS server that is having issues or it could be an issue out of your control you could open up command prompt in windows by going to run cmd or cmd.exe and then run the following command to see if this fixes the issue ipconfig /dnsflush The above command will make your computer reconnect to a DNS server and this will generally fix the issue.
