There are times when a family member disagrees with you especially in my family where numerous times I think I am right even though they disagree on a certain topic, Even to a point where I stand really is morally correct and that they still disagree with it. How do you deal with it?

I have my own way to deal with it just as everyone else has his. We are individuals with individualistic opinions and values and we disagree over many things. That is part of life. I usually, listen to the elders, try to judge myself, try to convince them and eventually follow my heart if they are not convinced. But family is family. They understand me and I understand them. Many times, on pondering, I find myself on the wrong end days after it all happened. I apologize and try to make it up.

I do try to convince them but if they really won't budge then I have no other option but to join them. "If you can't beat them join them" as the saying goes. But I do try to keep an open mind. Because it creates to much turmoil in he family if you rather be an opposing force.
