I guess it's going on 4 years now that I've been on sites that pay me. Yuwie was the first, and although that one ended up being a dud, I not only found some great friends there, but one of them referred me to myLot. Since then, I've played around with PTCs, paying chat sites, survey sites, other paying social sites, sites that pay you to ask or answer questions, sites that pay you for doing absolutely nothing, sites that pay you to post articles or other content, etc. There are way too many sites, and not nearly enough time, that is for sure. And some of you in other countries are limited by the fact that some sites aren't available in your countries. We all have our favorites, for various reasons. Mine are: 1. myLot - because you guys are great, and I have a lot of fun here 2. Vindale - far and away has paid me the most money, and I just like doing surveys 3. Opinion Outpost - see Vindale 4. Birejji - not for the money, that is sure, because some of my friends chat there 5. Gomez Peer - it's hard to get approved, but they really do pay me for "nothing" 6. Swagbucks - because there are so many ways to get points, and when I get points, I get Amazon.com gift cards So what are your favorites, why is it your favorite? My least favorites are PTCs because they are boring, and it just isn't worth the few cents to me. What sites do you really hate, and why?

i guess i only like mylot. i was on yuwie but did not like. the money is no appeal to me. i can only comment on discussions. i joined twitter when it first started..bored me. facebook is too open to abuse...of all kinds. i like the fact that for every 1000 people on mylot that do not like my humour, the one that does makes me glow. i went offtrack there but hell, who cares! lol!

I met so many great people on Yuwie that it was a darn shame how the site went so downhill. Yep, it's great when somebody "gets" your humor (with or without a "u" lol)...

So far, the best would be myLot followed by mturk. I hate facebook. I wish they would do something about its colors and layout to make me visit it. :)

I totally agree with you re/ FB. It's a very dull site that could use a lot of work to dress it up a bit.

mturk? I am no big fan of Facebook, but most of my Yuwie and Multiply friends have moved there.

No, I'm sorry, but most of those survey sites are not open to people from India. I find that strange, after all you guys are consumers too.

Also, surveys, games and many other things. When my kids want a book, I use the Amazon.com gift cards that I get there and Opinion Outpost. It's great.

Yeah, it seems like there are very few survey sites that pay outside the US, Canada, the UK and Australia...

Out of the sites you mentioned, apart from knowing about Swagbucks, I only knew about mylot. And I do not get enough time to be here regularly. However, if God has his way and I am out of work in a few months then I will crawl to you for advice. I can write well but not quickly. I just don't know how you manage to do so much. Kids, full time job and housework and shopping and voluntary work at the Cat Shelter. Amazing and heck, in between all of that you also managed to get a divorce Just teasing Dawn.

Housework? Who said anything about housework?

I use MyLot of course and I also use grab points which is pretty simple, watching videos, doing surveys etc. I also use surveys on the go which is also simple but the payout isn't as fast. I recently started using vindale research so I have yet to see if that one is legit. It takes a lot of time and patience to find which ones are right for you.
