It seems that some on the UN Human Right Commission want an investigation into weather the US and the Seals are guilty of Murder.
The UN is becoming such a joke and their Human Right Commission is even more bizarre. You have Countries like China, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, and Libya deciding what is a violation of Human Rights. It is time to leave this over bloated group of people who seem like rich spoiled brats who want to play world politics but not have to take responsibility for their actions.
Cut the funding of the UN and ask them to build in a more friendly country like China, or Cuba. Think of the money the US could use to reduce the debt.

Well the UN is joke. We are NOT answerable to them. Our government is not answerable to them and neither is our military. They are answerable to the citizens of THIS country ONLY.
I don't understand why we are still in the UN. Why do we waste our money on them? I say cut all funding...withdraw from it...and kick them out of our country...oh and take the world court with you when you go.
I do feel squimish about the fact that we violated another countrys sovernity without their permission when we went in after him....but other than that, I am ok with the whole thing. I just wish we would have had Pakinstans permission BEFORE we did it. I mean come on...would the people of THIS country be ok with another country sending in their military to our country without our permission? No...we would take it as an act of war and react accordingly. So if we are not willing to have our sovernity violated....then we should not violate others sovernity. It is a respect issue to me.

They're the best second-guessers on the planet. Typical uberleft thinkers, those schmucks.
How would they have handled it, I wonder? My guess: they wouldn't have handled it at all.

For some time now Pakistan has been giving shelter to the enemy. You can't give shelter to the enemy and not expect the other side to come after them. They knew we were looking for him and it seems now that they knew he was there for 6 years so either they were giving him aid and comfort or they were the enemy too.

While I believe we need some world forum, the UN, the baby of the US, is a PACIFIER: The UN is frequently used by the US and some bullies to sooth the fears of nations, while simultaneouly used to accomplish goals of the US and its allies. Take for instance the situation in Ivory Coast:
France, the US and UN just installed as president of Ivory Coast Alassane Ouattara, Burkina Faso born and Burkina Faso national, against the Constitution of Ivory Coast which mandates its president be purebred Ivorian. Of course when the UN went into Ivory Coast allegedly for "peacekeeping," the natives welcomed the UN because they thought they had a neutral party. But instead of maintaining peace, the UN took sides, aiding in the killings and molestations (and ongoing) of non-Ouattara supporters.
UN, France and US thought all was settled when they imposed puppet upon the natives, and they are now confounded by continued uprisings caused by natives' rejection of puppet and constitutional defiler as their head-of-state! But as usual, the UN and its allies do not see this violation of the rights of Ivolrian natives as human rights violations!
While we need a world forum, the UN needs structuring. And I think we will have to revamp the UN by first declining it be housed in the US or any one nation. While the US will be saving in this proposal and all nations would be well represented; my guess is the US would oppose this idea, seeing it will mean equal represention for all nations and that's not what the US, France or great Britain desires.

The United Nations is just a joke. Launch an investigation into that massive group of radicals protesting in London and threatening to murder America's President. Stay busy with stuff like that and rejoice that there's one less evil SOB on the planet now.
Kill one of those bozos and, what, there is supposedly a better way?
I take it back. A joke is funny. The UN is sad and pitiful and, if the UN were a single person, I'd bet he would run to hide behind his children and throw his wife in harm's way if the crap ever hit the fan.
