How to remove eye makeup most effectively?

I love eye makeups. Nothing beats the dark kohled eyes and a touch of natural lip gloss. I mostly use eye pencils and love it. However, removing it is quite a thing. We have to be careful since eyes are most sensitive and the skin around is very delicate. I have tried different ways to clean eye liners but haven't got the best one yet.
So, how do you remove your eye makeup?

Hi mimpi! For years I bought a very expensive makeup remover by Estee Lauder
because I am allergic to cold cream and nothing else seemed work. It was
called "Gentle Eye makeup Remover, but was ridiculously expensive. I no
longer could afford it so I had to find another solution. I decided to try
Baby Oil and it worked, was cheaper and didn't bother my eyes! Been using
it ever since. It keeps my eyes soft too! If it's good enough for babies
it is good enough for taking off my eye makeup!

Hey that's a great tip. I will try using it as well. It becomes very important that I clean my eyes before going to bed since I wear it almost everyday.

I do not need to because I look smart, even without make up.

Don't envy me ..................it is God's gift that I look smart even without make up
(and long back a (girl) friend told me that your eyes lashes are such as if you have applied some kajal on it )

I am actually a person that only chooses to wear makeup on special occasions because of the fact that I'm really not trying to impress anyone. If they don't like the way that I naturally am, then they just need to go on with themselves. However, I find that when I do wear makeup, the best thing to get it off from around my eyes is Mary Kay's oil-free eye makeup remover. It is very gentle on the skin and actually does get all of the makeup off of my eyes.

I simply wash it with soap and water.
But if it's waterproof then, it's difficult to remove. However, you can pat some baby oil on it and wipe it gently with cotton. Then, wash it with soap and water.

i love make ups too and i love watching make up tutorials on Youtube and i learned that one of the best eye make up remover is Neutrogena Wipes. it is so soft and so easy to use. it is mild so it is safe. maybe you can try that too. try not rubbing your eyes because the skin around our eyes ages really quick so to prevent that from happening we should never rub our skin there. i don't go out that much, i stay at home as much as possible because i need more time to study for my exams but even so when i am out, i don't wear that much make up, just some moisturizer, and blush and dab some color on my lips. i'd like to wear eye liners too and make my eyes so dark because i find it more sexy when i see girls with their eyes so fierce and dark but my boyfriend doesn't like it when i do that heheheh but when it's already there, he appreciates it too heheheh

Thanks Alok. Baby wipes is a good idea. I am not sure about shampoo but it might work since they are not harsh.

hehehe...I don't remove eye makeup since I don't use any!
I love kohl drawn beautiful eyes and wish I could use it. I'm a little scared because of my contacts and I don't know how to drawn them to suit my eyes. Earlier I used eye liner on the upper eyelid and it was easy to take off with a little makeup remover on cotton....since I didn't draw a thick line but just a thin line. But now...no eye make up at all.

Oh, i too love to use khol pencil and eye shadow on my eye, however i had never had a problem removing them. I like to use a face and eye makeup remover that my sister gifted me and believe me it is very helpful. It is gentle on the skin and is opthalmologist tested too!

Great! I have used removers of good repute but never quite stuck to a single brand. Of late I use makeup remover which I must replace with a good eye makeup remover soon.

Hi mimpi! I’ve read a couple of responders recommend baby oil. I use something similar, it’s called Bio Oil. Do you have it in your country? It is a really good product that is not too expensive and can be used as an anti-ageing moisturiser as well because although it’s oil it is not greasy and works really well on pigmentation problems and stretch marks.

Thanks Paula. I am not sure but I can look for it. These days virtually everything is getting available in the supermarts. I need something similar which is not greasy yet gentle on skin.

Hi Mimpi
How are you doing?
I too love to use eye pencil and mascara on my eyes as these things make the eyes look expressive.
I use wet wipes to remove my eye makeup. The skin around my eyes is so sensitive that i use baby wet wipes to remove my makeup and these wipes have been working well. These are odorless and clinically tested.I use the Himalaya's and Jhonson'ss brand.

This is a little weird but the cheapest and best eye makeup remover is Vaseline it is so easy to clean with it and afterwards just wash your face with your normal face wash:)
