Less online earning opportunities for Filipinos

So I get it, online earning opportunities are greater for those who are from the west. Most of the paid surveys' targets are the citizens from western countries. It's a bit saddening, you know.

Yes, I have also observed this too- it's just really sad truth.. we can speak and read english well, so I hope they'd give us a chance to earn more online too. We really need it these days.

i agree.. just like what they have done with the BPO and callcenters, they provided a lot of these companies here in the Philippines because of our ability. I hope that they give us more opportunities online too.

Hey, don't say west! Even in the west there are less opportunities. It really boils down to USA and to a much lesser extent UK. Even the Canadians miss out a lot and Mexico doesn't exist - so much for neighbors! Anyway surveys are for suckers - most are scams. You really aren't missing much!

I signed up for some online surveys, thinking that it might help me in earning opportunities online. And like in the situation you discussed, I sometimes got admitted but I never got the survey itself because I'm not living in the USA and I'm not Caucasian with bleached blond hair. In a certain way, I do understand why I got rejected. I am mostly not qualified to take that survey becuase I am not a user of that product or a recipient of that service. I kinda thought that only US companies has the guts to send surveys via the internet. After all, online surveys are still unconventional methods to hold market research. But in our country, most companies prefer the traditional and old-fashioned way. That is doing the survey or the research manually. They have the people and they don't like tap into the internet community because they are probably afraid of the spam. Or the budget has no room for it. But I'll keep trying to find something on my inbox. You'll never know what your mail can deliver to you.
