Ma - You are Living God On This Planet

Ma! Mother! Mummy! Call her by any name anywhere in the world, she is there. An epitome of love, sacrifice for the child. Remember the first day you went off to school? Or even your Job? She would wait eagerly for your safe return, wipe out the beads of sweat on your face! Remember anytime you were unhappy, upset? She would embrace you and you would feel safe as in heaven. She would also lie for you when you fear getting caught red handed. When God created Ma, she was gifted with all the Qualities He Possessed. I remember the day when I was into for my first colonoscopy and she was there with me, I could see the pain, worry and even the tears in her eyes. I believe Ma is Living God on earth. Here are a few fidings who might disagree when I say this - 1. Science proves that whenever you are mentally down, have a chat (if you cannot have anything more) with your mom and you would feel better. 2. The Stem Cells Researches go way ahead in proving that Moms can be the one who not only give life but also re-generate you when everything else fails... I also read a great quote today - "A Man Loves his sweetheart the most, his wife the best, but his mother... the longest!". God, you did a discrimination when you gifted all your qualities in Moms... but I think the world is beautiful and worth a place in Moms arms and embraces. Happy Mother's Day to all Moms and would be moms! theSids. PS: I know today is not Mothers Day and I may be with my mom tomorrow. So here is something for you all to mark and make the day Special for your mom.

Hi Saphrina I will not hurt you ever. As tomorrow is mother's day, I know my granny will feel hurt and pained if she had to spank me or use her whips... So yes, I am going to meet my Ma and also tell her that I have loved her always.

dear sids Who could understand better and feel what we feel other than our mother. I am also a mother so i knew how it is to be one. Being a mother is the "most noble profession" in the world (quoted) Give hugs to your mom from me too dear brother. I've made a video for my mom as a gift since she's living far from me. have a great day dear

Hi Di Moms are made that way - soft, tender and what not... Just couldnot continue with my expressions as everything I thought of seemed so little in terms of what they mean to all. I have this discussion to show to her tomorrow as we have not got an Internet connection at my dad's place. But yes, I am trying to make something special for her... Maybe a food item or even a handmade card... I am not that great with videos but yes that seems a better idea to me. I might return posting her comments back after she sees this discussion...

Hey mamu Dont be disheartened dear... On the contrary you are one of the lucky guys who can have some share to help the Ma. I wished I was normal in health and could be by her side whenever she was ill or even suffering... At least lend her a shoulder at the time of need... But honestly, Ma never expects anything abck from us and that makes her really wonderful, great as she is.

Dear Vandanji I know exactly about the pain you mention... though mine is less and related with my grandfather... But yes, I am sure - Ma is watching you and you can see her around - close your eyes and think about her... she is around isnt she? That is what makes Ma God... Present everywhere around us yet we seldom realize her presence... and she expects nothing in return

Ok all mothers have given by God a qualities of being good mother to her children. Since you said that your mother or all mother considered living god - sorry for not agreing with you because God is only one - He can give qualities to anyone like you described. Since your descriptions for a mother are all good - how about those mother which quality of being bad (I know there is like) what you considered them living satan.... see you around By the way HAPPY MOTHERS DAY my friend.

Hi Visavis Agreed that your view is valid... but 2 questions - 1. Have you Seen God? He comes on this earth in form of Humans 2. God too does discrimination and is ruthless at times - Try to explain the recent Tsunami at Japan or even the Earthquakes at Hiati or even China or any natural calamity... They all have dark shades and you would say whatever reasons here but that does not prove my point invalid... Yes, some exceptions exist everywhere and you have to accept them as Exceptions and not Generalizations.

Oh it seems a deeper explanation about this. In the first question not seen God physically because nobody seen God. But His glory and power and His creatures are telling the true God exist. Through my faith my friend God exist. The second one God does not discrinimate, ruthless = He gentle, and justice to all His action, only in the mind of human such thing. All you mentioned about disasters in various location are all reminders and alert. It is mentioned in the bible about all such sign for the nearest 2nd coming... Do I am enough to explain more... see you around

Hello Sidhu, First of all Happy Mother’s Day to you. Yes, I agree with your points. Not only the mother but the father too, they are the visible GOD for us. We can’t see the GOD and our father and mother take care of us and they deserve the position of GOD. Now my kids are going in an organization for children, where they are teaching some religious slokas. They taught a song to sing at the time of get up. Pularum munpu unaranam (get up before the sun rise) Unarnnal ezhunnettirikkanam (sit on bed after wake up) Irunna Kannadachullil paradaivangle orkanam (after sitting, close your eyes then remember GOD in mind) Achane Kanenam munnil, ammaye thozhutidaman ( see your father infront of you, behold your hands for mother) Achanammamar kanappetta daivamanennu morkananm (should remember father and mother is the visible God) My 4 year old is singing this very beautifully and if get on angry on him anything, he will ask, are you the GOD. (That is the funny party) But they are touching the feet both of us in morning the great thing they learned from this organization. I think I have explained everything here about the importance of parents. I am sorry the if there is any mistake in my translation. My mother is no more and still I have the pain (remembering on her). So I don’t want to remember that so I diverted the topic bit. Sorry.

Dear Di No you did not go off topic. Instead you completed the topic for me, yes, Fathers too have a role to play... Though I was and am not that close to my father (maybe because he was a bit stricter than my mom) but yes, they both have a role to play. The poem/slokas that you mention are quite an essence of life. In english there was a poem - Early to bed and early to rise... but this is beyond it and more meaningful. I am happy that the kids have continued to be the way we used to be in our childhood and I pray that they remain blessed with such good things and values in their lives. I can understand your pain... but dear, this is a fact of life and the cycle come up to your court now... you are the mother and gifting the kids with what your mom gifted you with... Amazing isnt it!

Thank you for the kind words, often many don't take the time to understand how important mothers are I am a mother myself and my daughter is only 10 so she is not to the point that I am with my mother. I let it be my mom's day instead of my own because of the person she is and your right when I am down I give my mom a call and when I hang up I feel better. A mother has every profession in the world in her brain. She is a teacher, psychologist, nurse, doctor, counselor, taxi driver, chaffeur, comforter, fashion designer, chef, house keeper, gardener, and the list could keep going forever. There is nothing that moms don't do to keep their children safe and raise good children. Happy Mothers day to all other mothers.

Hi baileycows Sometimes we do get so engrossed in the worldly things that simple facts and simple ways of life dont get to us and so many forget the virtues and blessing that we have from our moms. Never mind, some realize and that makes the world beautiful as it should be. You are quite true, a mom has all professions from the world in her brain and I am just amazed to share this - any girl doesnt have all these qualities and knowledge but the day they become mothers, these qualities, skills and knowledge get to them - still a mystery for science that from where and how this happens but this happens... As I feel this I say Ma is God.

It is such a touching post. God is not everywhere so He made mother. Mother to means my ultimate guide, support and inspiration to make my way into the long ,unsafe and uneven road full of pebbles and rocks. I remember how she inculcated in us the teachings and values of life she has always followed and nurtured and helped us to become what we are now. I thank God for the core of my heart for having given me such a person as mother who sacrificed her own needs to provide for our luxuries.

You are welcome The value of motherhood becomes more vivid when God bestows upon us the task of achieving motherhood. My son is 3 years old and he just loves me . One day he was looking at his first birthday pictures and in one of the pictures my entire family was there. He said that this is grandma, grandpa, papa and this is my mama.He said this with so much love and affection that i just got so emotional and it lifted my spirits that yeah i am someone special for him.

Hi bamrahkirti Quite true... It is a heart touching post for me and you too agree to it. I thought we all have become so much mechanized and busy that we dont aprreciate the worth that comes to us... So I wnated to share my feelings... But as I mentioned above, There are so many things that one can write and at and all of those seem so small when we compare to the things ma does for us... I can never think of attributing even 1% of it just because I am a man heck, I cannot be a mom ever. Thanks for appreciating and yes, of course, adding some more here for Ma

Hi thesids, Happy mother's Day! I am going to have a special dinner with my mom tomorrow and that is what I did for the previous years. Many people will only meet their mom a few days in a month and some even seldom go back home to see their mom due to their work and their own family. For me, there should be no specific day to be a mother's day but it should be everyday and as a child to her, we should see them more often. If based on calculation, if someone only meet her mom an hours a day, in total, he can only see her mom for about half a month in one year time. So, imagine how many more time left that you can spend together with your mom?

Hi Yspmyl That is sad but quite true dear. Even though we stay in the same city about 15 kms away, yet, I find it difficult for me to make a visit to her every week... my illness plays the spoiled sport... but still I am thankful and happy that some people are taking the steps and looking forward to meet their moms. Thinking from moms aspects I think that is what they all need to keep them happy and it is quite a small step to take.

Dear sid The very word maa or mother is enough to cause some sensation in my mind, there is no substitute to mother, you must be aware that when people here remarry, they bring home a new mother, but the kids from previous marriages don't accept her as the mother, i mean in maximum instances it happens a son or daughter might be unkind, rude to his/her mother, but a mother can never be the same for the kids HAPPY MOTHERS DAY Thank you so much for sharing Happy posting, cheers. Namastey. Kalyani

Dear Kalyaniji That is quite true for many people around. Kind of blood relations that are thicker than anything else. I too was a bit rude and harsh towards my mom but that did not have any effect on her seamless love for me. Mothers are truely something special that nothing on the planet can match or equate with... Happy Mothers Day. Regards.

I won't be with my mom tomorrow but I will call her tomorrow to wish her. When I read about you being with your mom, I thought of my neighbour (about whom I started the discussion) and felt sorry for her not being with her mother:-( My mom doesn't have all the qualities that you have mentioned but I love her all the same. I wonder what my boys have planned for me tomorrow :-) I hope it's something special...last year the older one made 'maggi noodles' and juice for dinner and helped his little brother in making a card for me....but they forgot my birthday latr that year...lol. Happy Mother's Day! And hope your mother enjoys your company tomorrow :)

Hi Sviswan Calling up and letting her know that she means a real lot does convey more than being physically present around. She knows that you are occupied and have your own responsibilities that you cannot avoid. But hey, the kids doing the treat and celebrations... that must be quite a joyful thing... Let us know how it all goes tomorrow - the kids and you... Time for you to sit back and enjoy the motherhood... Happy Mothers Day Dear.

hi thesids my mom was an angel too and put up with a humorless jerk of a tyrannical husband,my father, He would have done in anyone else but she was loving to him in spite of his verbal abuse. In that era divorce was considered horrible. you stuck it out no matter what. What I loved most about my mom as a kid was that she always knew I was hungrywhen I came home from school. also way before people worried about healthy food her snacks were always wholesome like apple slices and peanut butter, or celery with cream cheese tucked into it.she was always at us to eat more fruits and veggies too.Only a saint like her could have lived with a man like my father. My parents have long been gone as I am now almost 85, I just hope my son thinks I am a great mother too.

Hi thesids Not having a mother thesids I cannot relish this day as you but that is okay because God gave me the gift of being all that you mentioned. See I have my two and now hindsight I can see why I had them to place me as the deserving mother I never had. I am sad though because usually I get to spend Mother's day with my two kids but will not be able to tomorrow. In fact I will be alone tomorrow, although I will get the wonderful calls and although it will make me teary because I miss them both so much. I do realize though that although I have been so blessed with the Mother title, but being the first Mothers day ever without them make me a bit sentimental, guess I have to get use to it.

It was quite lovely and we both had fun, so I thought I come back and let you know. Also I noticed this discussion was on the top of the myLot digest. Hi ajk They are so very careful arent they... And guess what many a times they seem so right (even if we know or think they are not) but still we give up and agree to what they say because we know for sure - they are not telling things for the sake of telling, they are sharing out what their ever caring hearts tell them to... And yes, one cannot beat a conviction that comes straight from the heart!
