As long as it generates income, I don't think the gap between playing IPL is going to increase. This is basic ecnomics. Why do they want to sell a product less frequently, when it generates awesome profit. Makes no sense. If its going to be held once every 2 years, BCCI, players and Franchise would have a cut off in their income to half an extend. So, I don't think they ever change how it is held now. Probably they even think of having it twice per year. LOL

I think there should be two IPLs in each year. That will increase the madness. Actually IPL is now the most entertaining tournament in India. Who told people are getting bored. Gayle, Sehwag's innings has brought them fresh breeze. Sachin, Valtathy's centuries were more or less entertaining. Even Malinga's slinga is always brings cheers among peoples. So, why should we think about one IPL in two years ? IPL rocks.

Sorry to say you that I don't agree with your opinion that IPL should be conducted only once in two years. In my view IPL should be there atleast once in two years.Because through IPL we are getting new talented players and I'm sure this gonna help the Indian cricket team.
