Should teams in IPL meet only once in a year?

i am surprised at this guys. for one,because of the 2 months it takes for IPL,even some international matches get affected.for example,while dilshan was firing against kochi,he was supposed to have left for international duties on may 5th. second,the IPL teams do meet in a tournament called champions league. you want one more?

I think two teams can meet twice in a season. That may lead total number of matches to many, but it should be good if India thinks of reducing number of ODIs and Tests like the other team. India is the only team who plays so many matches in a single year. So, like EPL, IPL can get much priority if everybody thinks about it. It will be nice to have IPL the main cricket tournament with each team facing twice. It may be spread to more cities too. IPL can be arranged twice a year too. IPL is the most entertaining tournament of cricket. So in order to increase more, we can develop it by applying new ideas. The future tour of cricket of each team can be cop with IPL so that no other cricket tournament should clash with IPL so that all the overseas players can participate in IPL which will make it more interesting and more balanced.
