The Hits4pay and other online PTC sites --- Are they true?

Hi, I've been searching the web for online jobs that would help me financially. And to my surprise, I learned that there are many sites who would promise you a payment for answering survey forms, watching advertisements, or reading emails. Now, I wonder, are those sites legit? Are they serious of paying you by doing those things? Have you tried joining those sites and did they really pay you? please share your experiences and the links for those sites who really pays. Thank you.
