They are the same since God created everything. Why do people ask such stupid God questions here? Don't they have a priest that they can annoy? Do you think WE know everything? Perhaps you think that I AM God!

God is the Creator, the Alpha & Omega, the first & the last. Satan is the former Lucifer, and Archangel, who after an undetermined amount of time, became full of himself after God had given Lucifer his own angels and his own kingdom. Lucifer became tainted & greedy and eventually wanted to take the very throne of God, thereby becoming Ruler of all Creation. So, the difference is that God created angels, Lucifer, is an angel created by God. Lucifer created Satan. Those who have no idea what the bible contain, nor even know God, think that God created Satan...that is a serious falsehood..Lucifer became Satan, God did not create Satan.

Which only goes to show your knowledge of the Bible, and of God, and your unwillingness to accept your own responsibility...you just point the finger at God for what you say, do and think? God has given each of us free-will, including angels...and Lucifer. A woman, by free will can have a child, or not. A man can choose to rape, or not...his decision, not God's. A man can choose to steal, or not by his own free will, not God's consent...man's consent. Whatever choice you make, all of us make, we have to live with those choices, God is NOT responsible for who we are nor who we become. Lucifer became Satan by his own accord, and will have to one day pay for that...God had nothing whatsoever to do with it.

hehehehe the moment that Lucifer created Satan, it simply shows that God also created Satan because God has the will and God didn't stop Lucifer the moment Lucifer starting to create Satan Lucifer created Satan with a Consent agree by God.... Just like Pontius Pilate washing his hands for the chosen people of God to crucify Jesus.... with his power, he didn't declare Jesus as Not Guilty nyahahahaha

God(our Father and Creator) loves us, wants the best for us and wants us to live forever. Satan wants to ruin our lives and kill all our prospects of living forever.

The difference between God and Satan, is simple. God deserves the Glory, and Satan wants the Glory. God created everything, through Jesus, and Satan created nothing, yet still wants to take credit for it. Sincerely and With Appreciation.

God did create Satan. God created everything. God also gave Satan, who is also Lucifer, and the Son of the Morning, the same gift He gave us Humans, the ability to choose for ourselves how we wish to live our lives, and emotions. Satan, chose to let his negative emotions over rule his positive ones, his desire to be worshipped, corrupted him, and made him want to person to get the Glory for creation, which he did not deserve, a full third of the Host of Heaven decided to side with Satan, and a War broke out, with Satan on one side, and Jesus on the other. Jesus' side one, and Satans side was cast out of heaven. Never to bask in the Joy of the presence of the Lord again. So, he has been trying to stop as many people as he can from worshipping God ever since, so they can share his same miserable fate. But again, this is just my interpretation from what I learn and have been taught. Have you ever considered going to a Bible Study, or asking Missionaries of one of the Various churches that send them out, to come and have a lesson with you? I personally like what the Jehovahs Witnesses and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints teach. Sincerely and With Appreciation.

God did not create Satan. God created Lucifer. Lucifer created Satan, which means, and I quote, "adversary".

It's kinda the difference between Your Grandfather and Your Deadbeat-Dad ... between the family that does the way it's supposed to and that leaves everything so-so, and the rebellious independent who probably has it worse but only shows you how it's going well.

'Deadbeat-Dad' is a slang-word meaning "a man who 'fathers a child with a woman' and then leaves her alone to take care of the child. Satan is our 'deadbeat-dad' ... he started off as one of the 'Sons of God' (the angels), but got jealous of God's ultimate ruler-ship over man and so left God alone to take care of us.

To understand the philosophy of what satan is, we need to understand what good and evil is. God created everything Good. It is the misuse of the good things that makes something evil. Evil is only the absence of goodness. So we cannot say that evil is a creation of God. Just like the source of light is the sun. But, if you cover the source of light, you have darkness. Therefore God only needed to create the sun. Darkness, or "evil" is only the byproduct. Our actions can either be considered good or evil, because we have been given the option to choose. We know in our conscience what we are doing is good for us or bad for us, hence we choose what we wanna do. As far as satan is concerned, it is only a symbol. There is a satan living in each and every one of us. It's a negative force within us which incites us to do wrong things. We all experience this satanic force every day of our lives. There is no such thing as the physical form of devil, it is only used as a symbol in books of the past. Remember, that early prophets always used figurative language to explain certain concepts.

Satan is an invention of mankind. So many must have someone to blame. Yes, blame seems to be very important to mankind. God does exist but only as a belief until you actually bump into Him. That will be your proof. Sometimes those who search find what they search for. As with everthing in life, the choices are all ours to make.

Exactly [002:268] The devil promiseth you destitution and enjoineth on you lewdness. But Allah promiseth you forgiveness from Himself with bounty. Allah is All-Embracing, All-knowing.

ir really depends on your religious inclination. supposedly, god is the creator, and satan is the destroyer. but these are just characters "assigned" by early mystics. this is in general. if you want the specifics, then i think you should learn more from the beliefs of your religion. and from there, you could investigate further. you are aware of god and satan. so i assume you were raised in a particular religion.

Hello Murkie , I think religion is the thing that is meant to be regulating the people , i would like to know what is the real deal about a God and Satan

basically, a religion does not regulate the people. the people should be the one, supposedly, to regulate the religion. well, a religion is formed when a group of individuals who share a common belief come together to implement or to maifest this belief. i think one could never tell what is real and what is not regarding god and satan. this is also the reason why some people hold on to certain "truths" which are actually false. each of us has his/her own version of "real deals", depending on your beliefs (and understanding). this may not seem clear, it's kinda hard for me to explain, really (whew).

There is nothing to solve. God is the good in us and evil is the bad in us. God wants what is best for your soul, and Satan wants to mislead you and see you do wrong. Satan promised God that he would mislead everyone and God has shown us how he has defeated Satan in every way.

Both are creatures of myth. For monotheism to work someone had to invent satan. If the god of a monotheistic religion is to be regarded as loving and good than there has to be someone to blame the bad on.
