I woke up crying in the middle of the night

Hi whengcat, Several times it has happened. I believe it was bizarre dreams I was having of sorrow pain in which I was very emotional and upon being startled awake I woke up emotionally tired and began to cry. The few times it was about someone leaving me and I was very sad and emotional about it. Since I have had this type of situation in real life as a child I wonder if my suppressed subconscious thought spill over into my dreams at times.

Sometimes that happens without the crying bit, Like i dream that I've done something but i can't recall if it was real or was a dream ...

I had experienced it before. Usually when I met something sad in my dream, then I couldn't help crying. I remember one day I dreamed that my grandma passed away and it really made me sad and I cried. My husband was worried and then woke me up. But I still kept crying even if I already realized it was a dream. I love China

It did happen to me before when i was still in high school. My dream was about some goons chasing me and they wanted to kill me for some reason which i am not aware of. What i remember is that i kept on running until i came to this really secluded place where in there was no way out. I was really afraid and i kept on crying begging them not to kill me. And when one of the goons tried to hit me with a knife on my thigh i screamed and then i woke up, crying and sweating. I guess this really does happen to some, right?

hi, actually i have experienced that too but not in the middle of the night usually in the morning,i woke up crying because of my dream,such a bad and really makes me cry,and the reason too that i will not go to sleep again because i don't like to turn back the dream again.
