I just finished watching episode 20 of Supernatural Season 6, The Man Who Would be King and I just felt so sad for Castiel. The episode was about Castiel and how he and Crowlie was actually behind the quest for the purgatory.
I was so sad and disappointed because it seemed like Cas was successfully tempted by Crowlie to take the deal. Cas wanted to defeat Raphael and Crowlie wanted to be king of purgatory. Cas did not want apocalypse to happen which Raphael wanted so Cas thought he was doing it for Dean, for mankind. But by doing so, he betrayed Dean and Sam. It was a heartbreaking episode. Dean finally discovered than Cas betrayed them. Poor Cas.

OMG! You're a Supernatural junkie too???
LOL I love Supernatural. Well, I loved Supernatural because I was crushing on Jensen Ackles back in high school. Im also genuinely interested in the supernatural. I was able to watch the show from beginning to Season 5. I only read recaps of the latest season online.
I still do love the show but Im not a crazed fan girl anymore. I guess I outgrew my "love" for Jensen Ackles.
Anyway, Castiel is my favorite character on the show recently. It was devastating to know that he was behind it all and he probably is the next Lucifer. He had good intentions but his ways are not that commendable.

Yeah!!! I'm a Supernatural addict! I've been a fan since Season 1 episode 1! I like shows like these because like you, I'm also interested in the supernaturals. And I also love Jensen Ackles! I still do. lol
I didn't realize it but I guess you're right, Castiel would probably be the next Lucifer! How ironic. I can imagine now a fight between the Winchester brothers and Castiel! Maybe Dean and Sam's influence to Cas was a bad thing after all. He wouldn't think of all that freedom stuff if it weren't for Dean. Too bad he did not consult Dean when Crowlie was making a deal with him.

Yeah that's crazy! I'm not that crazy yet! I know it's impossible for me to meet Jensen Ackles in person. Unless some miracle would happen if he thought of visiting Manila. Hahaha...
I've watched the latest episode of Supernatural and nothing like that has happened yet. Just that, Dean and Castiel's relationship is breaking away further especially because Ben and Lisa got caught up in the middle because of Crowlie.

Good for you, you still love Jensen.LOL I still do admire him as an actor and as a person but I dont wish on falling stars or strive hard to get cash just so I can afford a Canadian getaway, sneak into their set and hopefully get to meet him in person. Crazed much, right?
We still dont know, or at least I dont know what happened to the Season Finale. I havent been able to read the recaps yet. But then again, everything happens for a reason and maybe Cas being Lucifer is just balancing out the nature of the Supernatural world.
That's just what I think anyways.^_^

I'm not into such shows especially when there are so many seasons to it, it's boring.. hehe ^_^ The same goes for LOST, CSI, Desperate housewives and more. ONly the first season of them all are good because they are new to me, innovative. After which for all the following seasons, the storyline are all the same, turning me off rather than gain my interest.. hehe

You've got a point but when you get hook, no matter how many seasons there are, you'll continue watching it. You'll even crave for more. As for me, I like shows like Supernatural because it deals with the supernatural stuff.^^ And Dean Winchester is so funny.^^ I have watched LOST, too until the very end.^^ I don't watch CSI as much as I want to. I don't watch Desperate Housewives because I don't like it anymore since they made an insult to the Filipinos. Other shows that I watch is House MD and Vampire Diaries.^^

YEah, when i first watched Supernatural, i was hooked as well. BUt somehow, the hook keeps loosening it's grip on me, till i finally let go.. lol =D I find it not supernatural enough, unlike real asian supernatural things.. haha =D Those are what keeps my interest firmly with them
The same goes for LOST, it's too boring and draggy, together with desperate houswife. DID that show made an insult to filippinos? IN what way? I'm not into vampire stuff, because of twilight.. lol =D

Hmm.. Maybe because Supernatural is not all about supernaturals. It's also about Dean and Sam's relationship. I would agree on the Asian supernatural things. These Asian movies are really so full of it! That's why I think The Ring (Japanese original version) is my all-time favorite horror movie.^^
I felt that way with LOST, too. I actually stopped watching it at one point in time and then watched it again when I felt I wanted to watch it again.^^ Still, I like it. It was a whole new different kind of weirdness for me.^^
Ahhh... Curse Twilight! I don't like that, too! It made vampires looked stupid and lame! How can vampire glitter under the sun?? That's so contradicting to the real idea of vampire which are creatures of the night. .

Hi. secretbear. I probably saw this episode. I have seen many episodes of Supernatural, so I might not have missed this episode. This is very sad to know that Cas did not intentionally mean to betray Sam and Dean. What hurt me the most was when Sam and his half brother went down into the pits of hell together. They were fighting. Cas healed Dean and his father. It was a very emotional show. Sam was possessed with the Demon of Lucifer. He beat Dean up really badly in the face. I disliked seeing this episode. It was one of the saddest shows ever.

Hi cream! The episode you're talking about was the season ender for the previous season. I think that was season 5. And the episode I was talking about was one of the last few episodes of season 6.

if you were sad for him in episode 20, you'll be even sadder after the last episode of the series.
Cas really is left with no friends, family.. no one. He's alone. and when people are alone make stupid decisions, but still he did manage to save everyone, despite the bad choices he had to make and despite the fact that he ruined himself throughout this entire process.
He's not a bad character. He's lost.

Hi ellaangelus! I've watched the last episode last week and it was really sad! Yes, I agree that Castiel has not turned bad. He just did what he thought was the right thing to do. But I also think he was weak in choosing those decisions he made, particularly when he accepted Crowlie's deal.

great episode but yeah sad...especially at the end when Cas was asking for a sign of some kind to let him know if he was in the right path.
its crazy how season 6 has gotten...i still remember when the 1st episode started..i had that empty feeling about the show going down hill..but the producers and writers were aiming at that..i remember some people said they felt empty like it was supernatural anymore but they really got us good they made us feel like something was missing...and it was...sams soul was missing so they made the show seem souless at 1st...but then all of a sudden when he got his soul back boom! that supernatural feeling was back lol...jeeze i feel like im going way off topic here..
in another note did you guys know that season 7 is already confirmed?

I was really surprised with the first episode. Actually was that the last episode of Season 5? When Sam was standing outside Dean's house? But I have also thought that maybe it was an angel who got Sam out of perdition. I did not think it was God.
Wow! Season 7! That's good to hear! I just can't get enough of Supernatural!
