Do you think America is selfish ?

I am not talking about American peoples, probably they may be also. But
here point is about American Govt. According to me they have been so selfish since they got everything done outstandingly.
I am from India, it's obvious to hate me by bit of americans, but let them do their job.
Last year; Mr.Barak Obama sent back 25000 Indian IT employees since Indians gives their talent for low caost to american companies. But this is not Indian's fault, Isn't it ??
There are lot of cases, like Nuclear test. They have banned Nuclear test for all world while they use to do 16 thousands Nuclear test per year(this secret is known to only selected countries), sometimes even gr8er than this.
So the final conclusion is that they have got Some Selfishness, Isn't it ?????????????

OK..So America is selfish because of 25000 foreign folk employed by American business. Now who is being selfish? To think that those 25000 jobs could be filled by American peoples, but why be concerned with the American people or with their job situation when there are low pay scabs to take their place?
Though it should, low pay employees DO NOT lower cost to those who consume. Rather it increases 'profit' to the greedy corporates. So, you effect the economy in this country and you effect the economic trials of the folks of this country and you effect the already strained job situation in this country yet it is we who are selfish. If you want selfish go find a mirror!!

I didn't wanted to heart any of American citizen, but i was aiming to know what the world thinks of America. And i have also mentioned that America have done job's outstandingly (that is what my opinion), isn't it ??
I am probably the only person in my country who respects Mr.Barak Obama
I was just wanting to realize some sort of facts from all other country users here on Mylot.com about America. If aiming this kind of object is crime(making others angry) then yes I am a criminal and America should arrest me, but unfortunately they can't that is what Americans deserve. Hope you have got the Point.
I would never respect America if there are no Citizens like you, cause every country should have kind of persons who feels really Proud to be in his/her country.
I would say only one thing, Keep your Anger under control, try to understand others before haunting them and most important aim your guilty first before your soul get you to HELL.
One of gr8 artist said "SERVES the peoples, LIVE like a legend and DIE for your country". you did a gr8 job.

As a very proud American I believe we are a very generous county as well as individual people. We give you 94 million dollars each year. Now is that selfish? When I was in high school back in 1962 we had an exchange student from Your country. We were sending aid to help the poor people but the rich people were getting that aid. Now his family didn't need it but he thought they should get it before the poor people did. You are very near Pakistan Do you feel secure knowing that they have a nuclear weapon. How about Iran who hate Israel? Back when the first weapon was developed had we known just how bad it would be we would not have developed it. But at the time it was the best way to end the war. We don't always get to see into the future to see the results.

I don't know when America gave 94 Million dollar to us, but one thing is clear that if all of our misters would haven't been deposited a;; their black money in swiss bank then India is buying 9 america's at a time. This is quite stupid, you are helping someone doesn't mean you aren't selfish....hehe.

Okay, first I do not like Obama because he is trying to change America to a socialist country that is like many other countries in the world. America is not selfish. First there are lots of people from India there and also in Canada where I live. In fact there are so many that have come to Canada, that many of the commercials show people whose look is definately East Indian.
As for the nuclear testing, when America started to do the nuclear tests after the 2nd World War, they did not realize the danger of radiation fallout. And there were some of their famous actors, John Wayne for instance, who started to develop the cancer that killed them because they were too near a testing site.
So do you want them be less selfish so that your country can do some nuclear testilng and perhaps see more chances of caner?
There is a proverb, "Be careful what you wish for."
Are you sure that it is not due to envy or greed?
Oh and as for the IT employees, there are lots of Americans who need jobs. Why not think of them?

I wasn't talking about any kind of JOB or JOB less employees it was just mentioned in order to make it Right explained, that's it !!
And any way, why should i insult america and i even won't praise Americans. It doesn't matter to me.
When it comes to individuals, that somebody is insulting like to you then yes it's obvious to have reactions like all you guys posted above.

I suspect you only want those who agree with you. The fact I think you are jealous and envious. And you also want America to be just like your own country. America is supposed to be an individualistic country and sometimes what it does is to go where others dare not. I do think that getting mad because America tested the nuclear bombs first and had nuclear plants is not the way to go. The reason is that they took a chance. And that chance could have cost them in health. There are lots of things that America did that cost them dearly and I suppose you are saying, "why could not India do it? and now the Amerlcans are saying it is not safe." Well all those chemicals, etc. to make food grow faster has destroyed the health of many Americans.
I do not think you really went through my response and read what I was saying, I think that you put your own interpretation on it.So what I am saying in short form is "
America did many things, like nuclear testing, etc. that they did not know the danger of. They took chances and sometimes those chances cost them dearly. Would your country have been willing to take that chance?

Yes i am jealous and i want America like to be my country but even poor and the worlds most poor country. Don't just look at my thinking power, just move your eye all over the world and you would be amazed that everyone think like me in case of america.
Do you know everyone think like that in case of america, if you want to know then look your own govt. all the things belonging to america then you will get that why peoples are jealous about america and why they think like this of america.
You caught me right, you are brilliant, exactly every American is now supposed to be as you are(i said Brilliant), you know why every emerican is supposed to be like you, bcoz YOU ARE REAL JEALOUS !!!

Yes to a certain extent and I am saying this as an America, but no to another extent. I think that if you give a third world country the power and wealth that we have, their people would not be all that much unlike us. Therefore, we are going to be a bit twisted if we are in such a position of power, to really make a difference in the world. Anyone would be just as selfish as Americans tend to be in general.
I say in general, because this country is full of people who are rather down to earth. Of course, those who actually are in a position in power, that is a different matter entirely. The American people, perhaps to an extent, but a lot of them are not. Then the American government on the other hand, they are selfish, considering they demand high salaries and tend to throw people under the bus for their own benefits. Even the citizens that they are supposed to be serving. Especially the people that they are supposed to lead.

I had a little wish, while i was in childhood, that one day i would Definitely tour the America but now i had a wish which is really big and that is "I would make each American tour to My Country rather than America".
I don't hate America and i won't, but i don't even love/like america.

No Selfishness in America or the Government. We Send Aid to Countries in Need. Many People come to America to Live. As their Country offers Less & Less. We here in America have Loss to and not always Victorious. Many It Professionals Work in Your Country as You Call Customer Service for Your Computer Here in America. You Speak with a Worker in India over the Telephone. No Sorry Your Very Wrong about America

It's not about selfishness. It's that every country is suffering right now. I live in America and I can tell you. We have a high rise in unemployment, the price of everything has gone up quite a bit making it hard to afford things. There are months where some including me have struggled to make housing payments, or buy enough food to feed the house. So they try to bring work back to the U.S. to help us. It's not selfishness it's because it's selfish for us to outsource to other countries when we have so many that are unemployed, so many businesses closing down because of the outsourcing, and so many homeless. I'm sure any country would do the same.

Open your eyes man. All governments are selfish. They are corporate money-making machines and it's the same the whole world through. Hopefully, the world will evolve past this but until then it would be nice if people were less angry at a particular race or country.
