Hi to All! Do You Believe That Cell Pfones Radiate Us?

It's more than a myth than a real problem. First of all, the term "radiation" is deliberately chosen and plain wrong. What the phones do is emitting electromagnetic waves that they use for communication and a more technical term is that they "irradiate" those waves out of the air, but that gets over and over confused with something harmful. Radiation is what you have at Chernobyl. The phones for sure emit electromagnetic waves, they are specifically designed to do that. And that kind of "radiation" is for sure more common that you may think. It's everything, many devices actually communicate with each other with some sort of waves. TVs, radio, wi-fi, cellphones, handys are just some examples. Not to mention that those waves is also and undesirable effect of many electronic devices, as microwave ovens, computers or DVD players, among others. Even the light is a form of electromagnetic wave, with being just of a different frequency. Most of those fears of "radiation" are just myths and spams. There is a lot of research trying to tell if those waves that surround us everywhere have some kind of long term effect on our bodies, but really nothing is conclusive and no problem has seen, yet. As my small contribution to the collective paranoid, those researches haven't confirmed that they're NOT harmful too.

Yes, I know about this, some even say that it can cause cancer. It is unavoidable to use cell phones but people should minimize it's usage since it is harmful if we use this all the time.

I wrote a post that you can see if you visit - http://socyberty.com/issues/cancerous-cell/ The study i talk about in this post suggests that long-term effects of prolonged close exposure to cell-phones could conceivably be damaging to health, so a few simple precautions can help to minimize the risk. I personally believe that we have not done enough research yet into effects of electro magnetic frequencies to know for sure, but initial findings point to there possibly being a problem, as time goes by, so perhaps extra care in using this technology would be advisable.

I feel as though it is a complete myth because with the way society spends time nowadays on their cellular devices, one would assume that everyone would have some sort of radiation. I believe that if one chews on the antenna or puts their phone in their mouth from habit, this can lead to some sort of radiation but even in this example, it would have to be extreme. Maybe the older version of phones had this, but since technology has advanced so much in the past decade, I would assume that this is taken care of. This might be the reason why so few phones now have antennas but it is just an assumption.
