Happy Mother's Day, how has your day been so far?

Most disappointing. I was supposed to meet my sisters and mother (and maybe my brother) for lunch. It's an hour drive. Well my DARLING husband went golfing and took both sets of car keys with him so I could go nowhere. I phoned my mother all upset and crying, but then we had a nice little chat. I just know my sisters, after my mother told them what happened, were probably talking nasty about me behind my back. I should have just called and said I couldn't make it but I was darned upset. The man just doesn't think! And golf is such a priority. I folded the last load of laundry and brought the clothes up to the bedrooms. I put our's (hubby's and mine) away and then announced I was doing nothing more today. My 14yo cuddled with me, my 18yo shunned me. I have learned not to expect anything when it comes to any kind of holiday, then I won't be disappointed.

Yes and happy mothers day to you too, my daughter sang for me it was great!! Didn't know she could sing so good!!And my husband said he was going to cook for me today!! I hope so, L.O.L.

My kids are still young and they did not buy me any presents. But they did some crafts at Sunday School and gave them to me yesterday. Happy Mother's Day to all Mom-lotters!!!
