When People mention the wrestler John Cena, they always get mixed opinions, "Let's go Cena" "Cena sucks" chants vary, so what are your guys opinions? do you hate him, love him ot just dont rate him as a wrestler or a good entertainer, are you fed up with his constant pushing for main event status and champ reigns. Whats your opinion?

Cena isnt Marmite lol. He is an entertainer and know how to sell the brand well. HE isnt hated it's just that The Rock has given him a bad name.

Cena is quite simply the most hated man in Sports entertainment. If you have been following the WWE lately from the ground breaking promo by CM punk to the match at Money in bank and Summerslam I bet you will change your opinion.
He is no wrestling god. I am not saying he can't wrestle am saying there are better wrestlers in the WWE who can outwrestle him. We have this idea that he is the best cause he is not. John Cena would not stand a chance if he was in the Attitude Era; he would have stayed in the midcard where his place is.
With the Rock and Cm punk it even became clear to the casual fans that CENA is a phony. Men Hate Cena. If you are aged between 16 above and still wear your cenation colours proudly...may god help you.

Two of the reasons people hate Cena is because:
1.- He's overrated, overexposed as many of them are.
2.- People who has watched pro wrestling from back then, are able to compare from generation to generation and justifiably can say he can't be compared with many current and former superstars.
And even thou it is NOT the same wrestling from let's say the 80's with today's, it's still very easy to notice those who have transcended for their achievements, charisma, etc.
John Cena has been more exploited commercially than whatever he can do in the ring. No doubt he's a good looking guy with a great physique (for female audience), he dresses up like a teenager (for young audience), and his role is to put up against all bad guys in the company and be victorious.
But enough is enough, that's why The Rock had to be brought back. Vince NEEDED somebody urgently.
What does having Lawler back in the ring tells you?

These are good reasons to hate John Cena, i believe so he is overrated and shouldn't have the many title reigns he has.
I think you can compare him commercially to Hulk Hogan because both are the selling icons and kids hero's of there era's Hulk being the commercial and fan favorite in the 80's and Cena recently. I agree you can't not compare these two wrestling physique wise as Cena is a lot shorter than Hogan as the hulkster is 6 ft 7 and i would probably say Hogan is the stronger and more loved out the two.
I think because of the overuse of Cena as champion has angered many of us older audiences as i lived through the Bret Hart going onto the attitude era. i think also Christians reign was a sham as he should have held the belt longer, but as Cena, Orton is also overused for title reigns.

WWE is an entertainment show. Each wrestler has a role to play there. Sometimes the Big Boss might say, "okay, time for the others to get famous, so you have to make the audience hate you." You know what I mean? I guess he's just playing his role. But I still like John Cena. "You Can't See Me!"

haha, i know what you mean, to get the audience to hate you, is called a heel turn, if once a good guy but now made to be bad, this just recently happened to R-truth who took a heel turn on John Morrison. lol Yeah Cena is a very good character indeed its just his moves are kind repetitive, same with The miz and Orton, my current favorite is Sin Cara but that is my opinion im just into, high flyers really haha.

truly speaking john cena is one of my favourite wwe superstar. When he comes the whole crowd cheers him. But his entry needs some more sauce to make it remarkable. His game, his attitude is all just awesome. He has won maximum matches. But quite a few days before a new wrestler who looks white in colour is becoming a trouble for his career. Lets see what happens next.

I first came to know John Cena from the wrestling world. he was one of my late husband's favorites. he soon became one of mine too. When he started making movies, i became more and more a fan of his., Now i enjoy both his wrestling and his acting abilities.
