Hello guys..I admit I am diabetic but I never had any maintenance medicine. The last time I've been checked from my doctor was long time ago and he said I am a "chemical diabetic". He never gave me any medicines because he was afraid if I would take medicine for my sugar, there's a tendency my blood sugar would abruptly surge down.
He said I would just had to have regular exercises which I did before but now no more.
Any one here who are also diagnosed as chemical diabetes?
Could you please share what's your medications aside from regular exercise and diet?
Thanks my friends..

mobhomeir here in California thats known as pre diabetes and diet exercise and metformin it is found do the most to prevent you from beconing a real full blown diabetic. I myself take metformin and the old stand by glyburide and if I behave myself they will control my blood sugar but i still have to eat properly to keep my blood sugar in control,'Netformin according to the American Diabetes Association.org
claims the combination of exercise, diet and metformin work better to keep pre diabetics from becoming full blown diabetics than just diet and exercise alone. I would see about seeing an endocrinologist myself as he would be more up on the latest findings than a family practice doctor. Also your doctor was remiss in not getting you on a glucometer so you can check your own blood sugar four times a day to really see if you are controlling it or not.so go see a specialist in diabetes, an endocrinologist.Your doctor has not kept up with the latest findings and low blood sugar is easily treated with a half glass of orange juice.he is just way behind the times.also check on line with the American Diabetes Associatrion.org

I had never heard of chemical diabetes, so I looked it up. From what I have found, it is considered "pre-diabetes". Diet, exercise, and regular glucose monitoring are the only recommendations for this. It can lead to Type 2 Diabetes, which is why glucose monitoring is recommended. You can look up more information on Webmd.com
