How would you get rid of them?

How would you get rid of the neighbors dogs from your yard. As well as the neighbors cats? One of our baby bunnies lost its nose to a dog last night, and as many times as I have called animal control I still have not seen them out here. The first time I called was 3 months ago and a few times a week every week after that. Yet still no AC officer here to get rid of the neighbors dogs.
But the owner refuses to do anything and we saw what happened this morning. My baby if she lives will live out the rest of her life with no nose due to an owner letting their dogs run loose.
What would you do to keep them out of the yard?

Many years ago,I had problems with not just my neighbors' dogs and cats, but the neighborhoods stray dogs and cats who would just roam the streets and get into everyone's garbage cans and they would have garbage all over the street by the time the garbage truck rolled up. Well, how did I solve the problem after trying so many different things, I went to Walmart and purchase cats and dogs repellents. They are suppose to have a very potent smell which the animal cannot tolerate when the smell it. The repellent really did work, but I am happy to say that I live in a city that does not allow any roaming dogs on the streets, and most dogs are living wonderful lives with loving human parents who walk them on a leash everyday.

Just in the past 2 days these dogs have ruined a part of my fence. I have had enough and am personally driving up to AC today and am going to the county commisioner. I have had enough they had dug so much that my little dog could have gotten out had she of wanted to. I saw it last night and fixed it, but again this morning most of it was damaged again and dug back up. But Lady luckily knows where her yard starts and stops so she wont go through the holes. But Negra my big dog will, and she has gotten out 3 times in the past 2 weeks. So now she is hooked inside of a closed in yard. How stupid for me to have to do that.
Last night I was shocked to see there was a 2 foot high area that had been dug out and they had pulled at the fence so it was in total close to 3 feet high. There is no sense at all in this.

I have tried that and moth balls, but neither seems to be working, and my daughter has asthma so the smell is not good for her lungs when she is outside.

I would put up a fence that was dog and cat proof. This is quite legal and can also be nice for privacy. A wood fence is good for privacy, but a mesh wire fence would keep the neighbors animals out of your yard. When you sue or otherwise fight with your neighbors your life cannot be happy. Good fences make good neighbors!

That is expensive though, and the dogs still can dig under it, they have with my dogs yard already. My dogs are being bit and hurt all of the time by these stupid dogs, just because the owner will do nothing about their own dogs. I make sure my dogs are safe and secure where they couldn't care less.

Why not talk to your neighbor about his/ her dog? And better ask damages to her too regarding your pet bunny... Sue and demand damages... I am so sorry for your pet... If you can put or build fences, do so...

One area of the yard is fenced in but the other isn't and they have dug holes under the fence 3 times so far. In fact Friday I had to fix the last hole because my small dog got out and she bites.
I have spoken with them, the school bus drivers have spoken with them, they also have yelled at them. Yet still the dogs are roaming everywheres.

You can sue the your neighbor and animal control! They're both neglectful and have caused you emotional distress because of their inability to do their job. Maybe you can try to video the damage your neighbor's dogs have created in your property and the injury your own pets got, send it to a local news channel and maybe then you can get the help that you need.

I am really thinking about doing this. We have lost 3 dogs since we have lived here to the neighbors dogs, this is why I have fenced in a part of my yard for my dogs, and still they get in and attack mine, just because they can dig under the fence. I am really getting tired of it, and am about ready to go up to the court house with baby bunny in hand.

I'll get a bigger and wicked dog that'll tear them apart each time they get to my sorroundings, but i'll take care of this ; never let the dog misbehave as the other dogs had done

My biggest dog that I did have weighed in at 126 pounds, their dogs killed it by getting in under the fence. 5 against one doesnt help.

Oh my goodness! That is terrible. I cannot believe Animal Control is not assisting in this situation! I would suggest involving the police and the court system. Hope your baby bunny is okay. :-(

She passed away yesterday morning, it was to much pain for her. But at least now we know that her brother is safe, I am putting him inside the house at night now. He doesn't care to be handled but we have to handle him to move him from one cage to the other.

You need to file a civil suit for damage to your property. Take baby to vet and then sue for the doctor's bills. This will show them you are serious. Keep track and make a list of all damage done to your property. If they are violent animals call the police and tell them you feel that you are in danger. They will make sure the animal control people will come.

I am actually thinking about taking them to court. The bunny passed this morning. But still its a life, and I am tired of these people not listening. Had AC listened almost a year ago, we would now have our other 2 dogs and our bunny. But they didn't listen.

I suggest you discuss with your neighbour. Tell him or her how you feel about their dog. I am sure if your neigbour is a considerate person he or she will listen to you and then take an appropriate action. You can suggest to your neigbour to get them chained up or baricaded from your premises. But if your neighbour fail to listen to you. You can then go to court. You can file a lawsuit against your neighbour. But you will first of all inform your neighbour about your decision to go to court. I am sure your neighbour will take appropriate decision if he or she knows that you want to go to court.

We have discussed it, and the dogs are still running free. Kids are being bit and nipped when thry go out to wait for the bus. Even the bus driver has yelled at them, and its not helping at all.
