Mixing keyboard layouts

This is my next silly great problem. I have my desktop computer for quite some time now, I also work with computers every day, and also have bought my own notebook. And after some time of using each of them frequently, I still have the small great problem of mixing their keyboards. Each one has a different layout, and that's a lot confusing if I'm switching constantly between them. My desktop has Latin keyboard, my work computer has Spanish keyboard, and my notebook has American layout. So each has the all the symbols, marks and special characters in different positions. And is really hard and annoying to search for an accent every time I type. Not something too big to worry about, it's really more a nuisance than a real problem, but it's annoying anyway. Has someone else faced the same problem? How have you managed it?

Actually what I have done is take the driver CD of my favorite Key board and mouse and ran it on the opposite one. So that this way I can use my wireless keyboard and wireless mouse on both my PC and on my laptop. I find it much more convenient and spacer too. Maybe you can do the same.

Nice if you have the patience to carry your wireless set everywhere . I have one too, but it's just stuck on my desktop as its permanent keyboard. Even fighting with those layouts differences, I prefer to have my laptop with it original keyboard, to make it portable. I don't even consider to bring it to my work, just use whatever keyboard they gave to me. Also, I personally don't like to be carrying big things with me. Just the barely necessary to survive. If it can't fit in my pockets, I will do everything to try and leave it behind.

RamRes I do hope you have found an easier solution. Yeah my option is preferably for someone like me who works mostly from home. If I had to commute to an office I can see where it would be a definite pain. Thank you for my BR!
