PSN has been down for sometime now and Sony is still working on resolving the issues. I would like to know what the consumers feel a good compensation would be for PSN users.

I'm really pissed about this and I can't wait for it to get back on. Playstation Network(PSN) is a free service and it's been gone for too long, so the best compensation for me would be just for it to get back online and fixed. I have waited long enough and I don't care whether I get anything or not (although it would be nice), except for PSN coming back online.

But even then it all comes down back to what it was before, a free Playstation Network. Something more needs to be added for the inconvience it has caused customers as they have waited long enough and also their personal information has been potentially accessed.
